In memoriam. This 3-minute live "medley", with parts of "Hound dog" and "Blue suede shoes", is a tribute to Elvis´ first drummer D.J. Fontana (1931-2018). Recorded at Roadhouze Record Store in Helsingborg, Sweden 30 November 2005, in front of a small audience of specially invited customers and friends. After a very short rehearsal in the afternoon the "club concert" lasted 25 minutes, with these 9 songs: "That´s alright", "Hound dog", "Heartbreak hotel", "Blue suede shoes", "Teddy bear", "Willy Brown blues", "Cadillac", "Boppin´ the blues" and "Whole lotta shakin´going on". D. J. Fontana plays together with 3 members from the swedish 60´s pop group THE HITTILLS: Nils Runeson, lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Mike Watson, bass, lead vocals and harmonica, Per Åkesson, piano and the stand-in Lars Persson on lead guitar.
This live clip is recorded Nov 2005, but unreleased until Nov 2020.
