Excellent review as always, Ed. I’d love to hear this beast with a pick!

"Trigger warning" 😅 Love it! The pre-amp is very subtle, overall.

@@JosephGallagher me and my Corvette Bubinga Pro I snacked back than for like 430€ last German series Made year with 2006 will probably part after it turns 20 and being 14 years than mine due to its weight and my back health unfortunately....but the tone is killer, even with old strings

this is probably sacrilegious to say, but as impressive as that preamp is, my favorite was the neck in passive mode. I could listen to that all day long.
@BassWhispererTV2 ай бұрын
I feel the same! I'm way more interested in the passive tone, but the preamp massages the tone nicely, I don't usually use active onboard preamp eq because most of them are generic and sometimes create a problem with interference between the frequency bands. These eq points are in the right spot, and they work together.

Nice bass! I believe there was some confusion with the text embedded into the video though - some portions of it have both pickups played but "neck pickup" written. Or did I miss something?

I haven't been able to reach the bass-spot site shown in the bottom corner. Not sure if the site is down or somebody is trying to keep me from buying another bass from one of your reviews

Yeah that upper horn makes it look heavy, unless it’s chambered🤔
