ഏതാണ്ട് പത്തുവർഷം മുമ്പ് അമേരിക്കയിൽ വെച്ച് യേശുദാസിന്റെ ഗാനമേള കേൾക്കുവാൻ ഒരവസം ലഭിച്ചു. ഓപ്പൺ എയറിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻറെ പെർഫോമൻസ് അത്ര പോര എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു കേട്ടിരുന്നു.. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ കുറച്ച് മുൻവിധിയോടെയാണ് പോയത്.. എന്നാലും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ആദ്യമായി കാണുവാനുള്ള അവസരം സന്തോഷത്തോടെയാണ് ഞാൻ കണ്ടത് ... യേശുദാസ് സംസാരിച്ചുതുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ എന്റെ ശരീരത്തിൽ എന്തോ വൈദ്യുതി പായുന്നത് പോലെ തോന്നി.. ദൈവമുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ആ ദൈവം ഒരുപക്ഷേ സംസാരിക്കാൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദം ഇതായിരിക്കും എന്നെനിക്ക് തോന്നി ... ഒരു കോടിയിൽ മാത്രം ജന്മമെടുക്കുന്ന ഒരു അപാര പ്രതിഭ..

Yesudas has a unique voice . 1 His main strength is a perfectly maintained vocal chords .His vocal chords can produce mid base to low treble frequencies with much ease . 2 His large built and chest capacity helps him to hold more oxygen and his meticulous training helps him to use apt amount of oxygen to produce sounds. 3 His long neck , large face and facial sinuses helps to resonate sound even more than one ordinary person could do. 4 His classical training along with inherited genes from his father helps him to attain perfect pitch , tempo, Rhytm each time he sings. 5 Years of singing light music and film songs perfected his vocal dynamics ,Feel and nuances. Yesudas was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth. While his illustrious Late father did encourage him to pursue classical music, the means of accomplishing it was hard. The lessons of " Perform or Perish" was ingrained into the DNA of this singer quite early. Coupled with a relentless pursuit of perfection and to some good support from his composers who ' believed ' in his ' scalable vocals ' irrespective of any ' pitches', Yesudas did achiev super human performance peaks which NO other mortals in contemporary professional singing can ever hope to achieve. Rafi Saheb is a different peak altogether.. No need to compare..

യോശുദാസിന്റെ . തരംഗിണി ഇറക്കിയ . 1984. ലെ . വസന്ത ഗീതങ്ങൾ . കാസറ്റ്. നല്ല devotional songs CD കളക്ഷനും എന്റെ കയ്യിൽ . ഉണ്ട്. 2023 മുതൽ കളക്ട് ചെയ്യ്തു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.. വസന്ത ഗീതങ്ങൾ കാസറ്റ്. അതിലെ സ്വരം ഒരു രക്ഷയും ഇല്ല. തരംഗിണി ഒർജിനൽ കാസറ്റിൽ തന്നെ കേൾക്കണം എന്നാൽ മാത്രമേ . ആ സ്വരം . ആസ്വദിക്കാൻ പറ്റു.

Yesudas at different phases of his singing career spanning six decades and analysed well the changes noticed in his voice as age passed by. No doubt Yesudas is born with a beautiful tone , which is charming and captivating. He has undergone proper vocal training apart from continuous practice and his expressive voice did wonders for him. Yesudas has a beautiful singing voice , consisting of pitch accuracy, tone quality, vocal range and emotional expressions, all these combined together made Yesudas one of the greatest singer of the century. Our country has produced many talented singers , but only one singer ( in the male category) whose tone turning out to be the most beautiful can be best compared to that of Yesudas , that is the great Shri.
