ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ದೌರ್ಭಾಗ್ಯ . ಡಿವಿಜಿ ಯವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರೋ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಏನನ್ನ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು. ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ರಾಯಭಾರಿ ಅವರು. ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮನ ಕಗ್ಗ ಸರ್ವ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಟ ಕೃತಿ. ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಚಿತ್ರ ಶಾಲೆ , ಬಾಳಿಗೊಂದು ನಂಬಿಕೆ, ಜೀವನೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಒಂದೇ ಎರಡೇ. ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಟ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಹುಶಃ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ರು. ನನಗಂತೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಚಿತ್ರ ಶಾಲೆ ಓದುವುದೆಂದರೆ Mysore pak ತಿಂದ ಹಾಗೆ. ಏನ್ ಖುಷಿ Dr. ಗುರುರಾಜ್ ಕರ್ಜಗಿ ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೆ

🙏🙏🙏🙏 😢 D.V.G ಅಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಾಹಿತಿಗಳು, ವಿಧ್ವಾಮ್ಸರು, Spiritual leader - ಇವರೇ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂತ ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜನ ಅಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೇರೆಯವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ? ಡಿ.ವಿ.ಜಿ. ಅವರ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಬಂಡಾರವನ್ನು ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುವಾದ ಮಾಡಲು ಆದರೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನ ಓದಿ ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳ ಬಹುದು

Such eminent scholars, philosepher, social activists , writers Honoured by Mysuru Maharaja & then Govt. Padmabhushan awrdee &doctoratese are not known to public. Their works are not known. People with nil achievements and no contribution to the society are honoured with doctorates and other awards in the present society. Kannada sahitya parishat or kannada chaluvali activists should insist upon installing Idols of such eminent scholars and writers in a row on an Important location to make it in to a touristspot. The life history of such eminent scholars should be added to the caricullam in High school.This could be done by the Govt to protect Kannada literature . Concerned authorities or Organisations working for protection of Kannada should take up this task instead of giving lectures on Kannada Rajyothsava Day. My heartful Pranams to D V G.
