The Adidas Adizero ambition was wrong. Those were definitely adidas prime sp2 the Noah Lyle’s spike. At worlds 2 of the 3 medalists in the 100 and 200 wore the adidas prime sp 2. What do you rate the adidas prime sp 2?

I prefer the sp2s over the maxflys. I think it’s an S tier spike from my experience in terms of quality and performance (college).

I felt the quality of the spike was better and more durable with the nylon carbon plate and the foam they used. I also wore adidas throughout high school (prime sp and finesse) and I liked their spikes for the way I run. It’s a Lightweight, super stiff plate

Why are you rating spikes that you've never even worn? It's clear that you haven't worn/don't know anything about most of these spikes. You can't just put the spikes in the tiers that you feel like they should be in just because you like the way they look or you've seen pros run fast in them.

Just do fall starts for 40 yards or a lil under. You can do push up starts too. For top end you just have to run the distance that you want to get better at, at your full speed.

great inspiration keep up the good work i see a sub 6.5 this year. Ive tried most of the spikes on your list id rate the maxfly and the prime sp 2 as the best but i havent tested the puma nitro series yet those are pretty good. The asics spikes you mentioned are not good but i feel as if with there new redesign with fred kerleys advice they look promising. The rivals have nostaglia they were my first spikes when i started in 2008 good memories with them. good luck this season Kalen!

No bro, he just had to get adjusted to the pro athlete track lifestyle. It’s a totally different experience from college in terms of training, travel etc. Spikes help but they don’t make all the difference.
