jeremy alaniz That’s brand new too and it’s not that. The headgasket can’t handle 30+ psi and the first run did good and the 2nd was doing good the 3rd run is where I feel like it failed and it kept getting lower boost on each pull. Cooling system was pressurized and my radiator hose was ballooned big time!

I'm impressed you're running that much boost on pump gas. The numbers are just like my Y7 but I'm on E85. Was hoping to see what it would make at 30 psi. I went from fel pro to OEM to je pro seal and so far the pro seal has been holding up pretty good with the head studs torqued to 70 lbs.

I am in the process of building a boosted Y7.. Got the 75.5mm no notch rods, 4 piston oil pump. And it's being finished from getting the high HP CSS. For the turbo I got a borgwarner 66/81 ( Might be too big) But long story short.. ( your videos always give me inspiration on finishing my build) I'm hoping to achieve around 300-350

If you've got 2500 to burn, a torqamp 48 volt electric turbo takes up almost no space, takes maybe an hour to install, and it'll spool the bigger turbo fast enough that the size won't really matter.

I’d stick with an OEM head gasket if I were you. NGL, I knew you would have issues with the fel pro in the engine build video but I remember you said that’s all you had at the time. Oh well, a head gasket is simple enough.

Hector Montoya Yea I’m also lower compression pistons than the stock y8 so I have to add more boost to compensate. Either way when i get all these boost leak issues fixed it should be around 350ish or so. At least I would expect that.

@@paytoncraft-h6g wow it’s been so long, here goes I might leave something out though, I had P2PO rods, ACL main and rod bearings, vitara pistons, Hastings piston rings, ARP head studs, brand new OEM valve stem seals, new oil and water pumps, walbro 255 fuel pump, iridium plugs, and hunter tuned decapped injectors. With a China turbo kit. Oh and a chipped p28. I might have forgotten some stuff it was like 3 years ago and I sold the car almost two years ago. Good luck with your build though... a little piece of advice go Y8 if you can and build the head also you’ll definitely get what you want.💪🏼👍🏼

Ragged Ridez I didn’t get a dyno tune but for a complete dyno tune I think Eric cost $500? I am not 100% sure. I just did a dyno session where we get the numbers but Eric was a awesome guy and adjusted fuel trims a little but otherwise he didn’t do anything else.
