What ecu i need to Buy ?
@BoostedPastime4 жыл бұрын
A P06 ECU chipped with Crome is what you need.
@_WESTSIDE_3 жыл бұрын
@@BoostedPastime a p06 will work in a y7??
@BoostedPastime3 жыл бұрын
@@_WESTSIDE_ yes because they p06 is a non VTEC single overhead cam d-series ECU the d16y 7 is an OBD2 the d15b7 is an OBD1 there are only some slight differences such as the timing as well as the fuel map but if you chip the po6 and you flash it with a D16 y7 basemap you could probably use the Y8 basemap but realistically you'd probably want to use the y7 basemap for the accurate fuel map because the injectors are different from the y7 to the Y8 as well as the fuel map so you can get a p06 you could even get a p28 as long as you flash it for a y7 basemap that would be what you would use to start tuning
@BoostedPastime3 жыл бұрын
@@_WESTSIDE_ technically you should be able to use any OBD1 ECU that is as long as you chip it and then you have the chip flashed for the the proper base map for the engine that you will be using
@BoostedPastime3 жыл бұрын
@@_WESTSIDE_ if you don't have VTEC now but you are planning on adding it in the future you are going to need an ECU which already has VTEC
