That super light flywheel is why the car hesitates off the line even when you’re launching at a high RPM there’s not enough mass to keep the engine spinning

@Texas_Road_Warrior yeah more mass wouod have helped me with the launch but hurt my mph and total power. But the reason it was slow off the line is because I forgot to have vtec engage at idle so on the launch and 2 step before it saw wheel speed it was only on the low cam. After this video the car went 13.84 as the fastest pass.

I know you don't have this setup anymore man but I got to say that's pretty sweet I always wondered what this setup would have did if I had it and one of my old crx's my track car for the last 7 years has been a 95 Civic coupe EJ1 ever since I got rid of the crx's it has a built d16 z6 high compression high comp Pistons p29s I believe can't remember better rods bearings Ferrara flat face valves springs retainers stage 3 cam skunk2 intake manifold skunk 270 mil throttle body bigger injectors walbro 255 fuel pump could have went be serious but I love pissing off my friends with their bolt on b series or k series with my all motor z6 hold on quite a few dual cams with this thing which makes me wonder what it would have did if I had it in one of my crx's considering how quick yours is and you're running stock cam stock throttle body Stock port and I have all those things the Pistons really made a difference and also machining the head when we did the valve train just got done rebuilding everything finally blew the setup up after 7 years and just read it everything and getting it dyno tuned this time going to see what she's putting down horsepower I'm hoping for around 180 seeing people put down even more with that set up with the right tune I love my all motor single cam and being the underdog eventually I will build a b18c548 or a k-series but for now for a daily since the Civic is my track car I have a rare 2004 Accord V6 6-speed with the Honda factory performance options hfp front lip rear left side skirt spoiler it's got bigger Wheels bigger brakes 60,000 original miles on it V6 6-speed intake exhaust J pipe precat deletes 3.7 intake manifold and throttle body tuned and that thing for a daily gets down even though I guess technically the J series is still a single cam but it's close enough to a dual cam for me and puts down plenty enough power for a daily the Civic is full-blown track car now no AC no power steering no cruise control no abs converted to manual rack and pinion full roll cage 5-point harnesses racing seats everything good in the front seats it's the car and my display picture with a crazy ass paint job that you probably never seen on a Honda all black on the bottom half but Hood roof and trunk have this crazy Galaxy black and blue candy paint with a lot of metallic flake in it you would see on like an old school lowrider do you have any idea what kind of power you were putting down with your setup? And did you ever doing anything more to it after this video before you went b serious?

Honestly my setup might have made 140, and that’s on a good day lol I didn’t do anything else to it, I just kept fine tuning it and racing until I found the b17

Oh definitely haha when I purchased the car a few years ago it had it in there. But I rebuilt it with all new bearings and synchros. Perfect gear-set for this build!

Steven Taeza yes and no. These trans don’t like high rpm gear changes because of the gear spacing. It wears out the synchros pretty bad. I am actually going to turbo it soon and once I have a fully built bottom end I’ll throw a cam in her with full bolt ons. For now the stock cam does really well.

@@PRZJ91 yea I got the a000 s40 in my car the transmission has been apart before I got it from junkyard from an all motor the car had a y8 intake and some kinda short ram intake tube. But anyway at 7000 rpm im a little over 60 and a little over 90 at top of 3rd gear im wondering if someone played with gearing or is that normal. I swapped it into my car which was an automatic. It used to red line at 7 grand but for some reason it will now rev out to 7500. Its still automatic computer. I have to slide the little switch to get reverse lights😂. Kinda funny seeing the D light flashing while its in park and also while doing 100 plus🤣. Im wondering how to disable the speed limiter. I want to run stock computer and eventually put a 125 to 150 shot on it. I got speedfactory rods and vitara pistons to put in but im waiting to get that crank pulley off to change the old timing belt. It showing some ware. All I got done to my d16y7 is specture intake tube on y7 intake and i got the cast exhaust from the y8 on it and strait pipe to the back 1 7/8 inch pipe I run side by side with a stock y8. I got the upper valve train from and cam from a y8 engine and when I change timing belt i will put it in the y7 head. It will fit and work but have to lock in vtec permanently. I got the 240 cc injectors too. I think the y8 cam is an after market one it has that nitride black coating on it but dont know if its a performance or stock. I also got a 2003 k24 accord manual 5 speed stock with 380,000 miles it will still smoke tires and run over 130

Hi, just a question... I have a zc transmission but the gearing is a bit long, hitting the limiter 3rd gear over the 400m... what final drive can I use thats plug and play that would change that for me? I went 14.9 with the car making 108kw and 189nm of torque

If you moved your gears to an si transmission and use that final drive that would be best. You could also use the countershaft from an si trans and ring gear and move that to your zc trans but it’s up to you

Lincoln Hipona wel I was only on 20 inch slicks with 15 psi of air pressure so I didn’t want to spin crazy. Launch rpm was 6300

Lincoln Hipona I have my launch control set to ignition cut. The ecu is cutting ignition signal which also make the tach lose signal. It’s cutting around 6300 but the tachometer can’t keep up lol

Alejandro Garcia the block is an a6, Head is z6. The rebuild kit I bought said pm3 but they looked more like pm6 pistons.

Elton Chung when I bought the kit off eBay it said it was for a d16a6. I was confused but it was already at my house by the time I noticed what pistons were in the kit. I thought they were gonna stick out of the bore. When I measured them they came out to be pm6 stock a6 compression height. So I threw them in and here we are lol
