I have an act 2 Holy Freeze mercenary and his gear is: eth upgraded Woestave (40%) with a Ber rune inside, Diadem 8% life stolen per hit (3x 15 max damage/15% IAS jewel inside), eth upgraded Crow Caw with a 15 max damage/15% IAS jewel in the socket. This is my Frozen Orb sorc's merc and we absolutely crush bosses and everything else on Hell difficulty. It's a perfect setup for rushing too. I absolutely LOVE Woestave. Great video!

Use this upgraded once with Holy freeze act 2 merc, duress and a G-face. Shael rune in the weapon. If you're play sorc, enchant him. Then fire dmg from enchant and cold from duress will take care of whats left after crushing blow and open wounds work

Ggm never disappoints. I find a new unique, search his channel and boom. Awesome. This item caught my eye for merc that doesnt use insight. Might use it on a new playthrough.

11:40 if you put this with guillaumes faces helm, the gorerider boots and souldrainers gloves this can be a good choise even in hell difficulty not the best but just good.

I used this, not eth, not upped on my forb/fball sorc into my high 80s until I found Steel Pillar and the eventually a Reaper's Toll, not considering anything in between, because it is just nice for cc and then also for the huge instant upgrade effect ;)

Mine rolled 21% :( God I think I sold a better one at one point UGH. I want to freaking up this on merc for a holy auradin. Plus unlike Insight 9more dps but my base is terrible on that merc... I can freaking literally have the merc just hit it and stack negative defense... and merc doesn't give a crap about "light radius" hell I don't even care about it on my hero I have him in a Duskdeep that's been upped. Bout to up the other undead crown too tbh. My god the requirements for the merc for act 2 is insane... it'll take forever! (I have the up requirements already and want to up this bad.)

You can use this weapon to Stealth your way through the whole game... Blinding targets, and sneaking outside of their range. Lol

Honestly if you build your character properly you don't even need insight on sorcs. It's a waste tbh. Most Characters infact don't need insight.

@@GGMentor I won't argue with a soft core casual, you guys can play naked javazons in hell and say it works. The fact is, runewords like insight and obedience are very easy to craft and are both great placeholders for any champion until they are "built right".

@@terrenceferreira4061 meh relying on your Merc during level up is Sketchy at best. And I know better then anyone because I always build a Merc and spend a fortune keeping them alive changing their gear and yes even using insight polearms. By the time your Merc becomes a stable contributive force you should already have your character figured out. Something like woestave literally helps them stay alive and be useful during the early levels of the game when they are most likely to die.
