I'd love to see Ronny do a crossover with 4WD Action. Here in the states, Those are sold as Nissan Frontier. I had a 2013 Pro-4X off road version. It was a solid truck, until I got hit by a red light runner, but I was able to walk away without injury. The truck was totaled, had $17,000 in damage.

the 550 is a great vehicle. I tow a van with mine and it handles it well. Plenty of grunt. I also added a catch can and intercooler. Also add a bigger tank to.

Ive got a set of the Dick Cepek Extreme country. Ive done about 30k on them now. I absolutely love them.Awesome grip in sand, mud and rocks ( no snow here in WA) They have a soft side wall which makes it great for wrapping around rocks, they bag out nicely for sand. Ive had the rim sitting on the sidewall while off roading. No issues. They do get a bit noisey as they age.

Nice rig. With towball weight it would have to be over GVM. Does the V6 have a higher GVM. These are things we never used to worry about but nowadays we have to comply. Love the radio show, great casual show.

Those rails the esky is on are made for Servers in racks. Pretty robust because the equipment we use them for are sometime worth $100k a piece

I spend a fair bit of time in outback Qld and you see heaps of those bullbars. Main difference is they are almost always on a land cruiser, not one of the smaller dual cabs.

Great setup. Thanks Duck and Ronny. That was a good run down on radio side by Duck - interesting perspective and good advice. I like the nissans because they have the air box on the passenger side which means the drivers side is pretty clear when you fit a snorkel. Would have liked to hear more about the donk. The nissans haven't always had a great reputation for reliability, so it would have been good to hear about that in the V6. I really appreciate builds with custom bits and home grown innovation...these off the shelf solutions - we all know they are good and work, but pricey and for some of us, that matters.

Josh adams Plenty of Tuff bull bars on the Western Darling Downs in QLD which is close to Toowoomba where these are made. I agree, they ‘re a bit too big .

I have a TUFF bar on my Silverado too.....they are big, thick and heavy....and I love mine. However, mine is a 4 poster and as such it has the void in between the two central uprights, where a winch can be fitted. I'd love to know how the hell he's going to fit a winch to THAT style of bar....because it has a CENTRAL pillar, so the winch can't be centrally located as far as I can see. It'll have to go one side of the pillar..IE: be offset. Can't see any other way.

Not expensive really and foam cell pro ya only need if you smash a lot of corrigations, if ya have a handy mate fit em yaself and save $500 🤘🏻 regardless theyre worth it, imo
