In the Octarian Sector, a warship boarded and looted by the Orks had its black box recovered. The sounds of the Ork boarding party were heard *outside* of the ship as the Orks stomped along the hull without protective gear or suits chanting "*ERE WE GO LADS, ERE WE GO*" so loudly that it reverberated through the hull of the ship through the vacuum of space and casually forced the airlock door with a pair of shokkhammers.

I'm sure I've heard another story of the Orks repairing a ship in space without protective gear with no issue, but when one of the Orks inside said they couldn't survive without it, suddenly all of the Orks outside died.

So on Grot Rebels there are some that have done absurdly well for themselves. One group persists better than most are the Grot Guard. This Grot army found an Imperial Guard supply depot and on looting it converted to worship of the 'Emp-rar' and contacted the local guard headquarters for orders and resupply. They have an Imperial Unit ID that they give when deployed, identifying them as an 'abhuman' unit. So far no one has caught on and they serve with distinction on many a campaign, especially against Orks. Ending each battle with Orls with more 'guardimans' than they started with, win or lose.'

The orks are fun but when you are fighting them they are scary as the tyranids one time some space marine thought there was building blocking the path but it was an ork

As Luetin mentioned, there is a large variety of Squig species that serve different functions in Ork society, my personal favorite being the Hair Squig. Orks are naturally bald, so if you ever see one that has a topknot or mohawk or some other hairstyle, that's actually a Squig that they stuck to their own heads to act as wigs.

Downside of being a grot or snotling is you can also be substituted for a ration pack or ammo... It's not uncommon for them to be strapped to a shell or torpedo and fired at the enemy, not a bad tactic considering they are fungus and well, spreading the over a wide area might not be a bad idea for a second or third wave.

Oddly, in the old lore..it was the snottlings that ran Ork society. They were super intelligent due to a special fungus they ate. They bred the BIGGA ORK as their, very stupid, servants but one day a particularly stupid Ork fell asleep in the only cave the special fungus grew in.....he woke up and was da starvin and ate every bit of the fungus.... The Snots descended in intelligence and eventually became the gibbering morons they are now.

Hey DND couple! Last year, for Halloween, I tried to get you to react to Haemonculus Covens of the Dark Eldar by Baldemort. It’s an hour long 40k video, so I can understand why it didn’t happen. Orks have a special power, unique only to them. Anything they believe becomes true. For example a group of orks ran into battle stacked on one another shouting "I'm a tank!" and they actually became a tank. The Human leader also stays alive for thousands of years like he does because the orks believe he is too badass to die.

Well, it's not unique to them really, everybody has that power in 40K (it's just how Sororitas faith, prayers, and miracles work, after all). It's just that the orks are the only ones stupid enough to trully, 100%, believe the kind of crazy things they believe in without rhyme or reason, belief enough for a handful of Orks to equate a billion human believers in "faith power"
