If you have plan to go back to country where you had before, its safe if you check and apply visa as early as possible to avoid problem in future, if ever the visa will about to expire, you can apply for extension prior to your travel date.

Yes you can extend after you arrive, however there is a push on at the moment to stop the VISA ON ARRIVAL thing, they want you to organise a visa before you enter the country, this is still being debated currently so best to keep checking the BI website to see if the changes have kicked in.

As I recall, you have to have an onward bound ticket before you're admitted to the Philippines. If you're planning to stay longer than 30 days either buy a changeable exit ticket or a cheap throw away ticket.

Hi Guys - You asked whether you will need proof of an onwards ticket for departure from the Philippines on your return flight from Hong Kong. From my experience the answer is yes. I visited Taiwan for a few days during a trip to the Philippines earlier this year with Air Asia and when checking in for the return flight the airline was very strict on showing proof of an onwards flight out of the Philippines (pretty much like you experienced at Heathrow). Hope this helps and enjoy your vacation. PS if you have a chance try a few days in Taiwan/Taipei which is just under 2 hours flight away, it’s not on everybody’s bucket list but you will be pleasantly surprised.

You can extend your visa in tge Philippines. There is one immigration office in SM Aura BGC Metro Manila. There is also I think in Cebu, Davao, and Baguio City. I think there is also in the airport in Manila...just ask any airport staffs if they can direct u at immigration office at the manila international airport...and when u have the extension visa stamp, maybe u can refund ur outbound ticket from Manila. Have a safe flight. Enjoy

I think they don't like Malaysia because women there don't sell their bodies for 1000 pesos Well in fact the only naughty girls I saw there were indos Pinoy have hiya crab mentality and onion skin ! Malaysia is 60% Muslim so don't have the night life Which I don't care about !

It has always been that you have an onward ticket or as it is sometimes called a throw away ticket that you never intend to use. I booked one a few years ago to fly from Clarke airport to Malaya, cost £35 so not a big hit. It is the airline that will get a massive fine if you do not have onward ticket.

I'm pretty sure that you'll be cancelling your initial plan of getting flight off to Hongkong, because of the current situation there. Anyhow, think about it & I suggest to just extend your Visa here in the Philippines & experience the SEA Games 2019 in Tarlac / Pampanga.

i go to bangkok when its time to exit (after 3 years) i buy a roundtrip, in Bangkok i buy at the airport a ticket to Macau (China) thats the cheapest ticket out of Manila i think its 50 dollar
