JUMANJI Board Replica MOD with an Interactive Screen & sounds

I mod my JUMANJI BOARD REPLICA with an animated LCD SCREEN/SOUNDS from the Jumanji DELUXE GAME. It's a 50$ upgrade that was well worth it! Check it out!

I just purchased everything to do this and planned it a week ago before this amazing video. Only difference is I plan on putting the center on bolts and springs so I can still push the center instead of drilling a hole on the side of the board. Love the magnets. You didn’t mention it but I planned on doing that as well. Also, Etsy has handmade figurines and dice that look like the movie vs plastic. Wish me luck! And thank you for doing the leg work so I can jump in comfortably.

Nice job. :) I don't have any Jumanji board, and have never done anything with transferring electronics and such. That said, when you mentioned the button for triggering the riddles, I was thinking it would be cool if you could put it under the edge of the lens, so that a light press on the lens itself would trigger the riddles. The idea was inspired by Stargate SG-1, where they press the dome-like center of the control console to activate the stargates.

You know, for the dome you could have gotten a good look with a lot less effort by using some gloss or high gloss polyeurethane over the dome out of the mould. I could also see another upgrade being a better speaker for it...perhaps also adding a remotely triggerable thing to play the drums just to freak some people out. Perhaps something added that might also shake the board a little bit.

Pretty good that I forgot to answer in the video. It's simply way too small. 30% too small I would say and it doesn't look as good as a casted dome.

Bad soldering technique. You're supposed to heat the wire directly and let the solder flow towards the heat source. i.e. let the heat wire melt the solder instead of trying to melt the solder onto the wire. If you do it that way though, at least at the end stick the soldering iron to the wire to make sure it all got heated correctly.
