@@DabuzSSB the most wild take is Corrin still being low high tier after all of this time and saying she's outclassed by characters like Cloud, who is known to not be solo viable anymore according to Sparg0 (a big reason why Sparg0 picked up Roy and even won stuff with Corrin. He was finding a new secondary). Corrin has so many regional wins, many major top 8s, and 2 major wins this year. She also has 3 incredible supermajor placements, 5th and 7th at Genesis X, 2nd at Collison, and 3rd at Supernova. Solo Aegis does not compare in the slightest, nor does solo Cloud, and yet somehow Corrin is still considered THAT much worse? I gotta disagree the results speak for themselves, and it *isn't* just Shadic. Sparg0 and MKLeo, while both dropping Corrin, both had big wins with her. Neo continues to win a lot of B tiers, and DieGorou got major upsets and is on the come up.

I probably would see mii swordfighter go up more. But I don't think that is deserving since there isn't enough people putting the work into them for people to see. Honestly think there is gold in the character. Great mid heavy weight that can be custom built for the mu with some amazing recovery.

Young Link being 47th is pretty insane imo, but he doesn't have great results or great representation (though more/better than others, I suppose)

The Pits lower than DK and not even being in mid mid tier is crazy. Pit is a character with good strengths and no polarizing weaknesses. Also, Zackray has consistently been making top 8 at majors with solo Pit.

Ya he has no polarizing match ups cuz he's not high tier he's jack of all master of none. Pit is a honest working man laboring 150% to take each stock in a game with Kazuya Mishima

@@brewslidepark Wrong. Pit has combos at 0% that do +30%. He can always combo off of his down throw, down tilt and up tilt. He has great ground speed along with one of the best dash attacks in the game, so he's never out of options to chase down the opponent. He has down throw back air at the ledge that kills at 70%-80%, along with other DI mix up kill confirms off of down throw at higher percents. He can kill confirm into up air off of both down tilt or up tilt at around 120%. And he arguably has the best killing forward throw in the game.

Respect but Corrin is NOT outclassed like that. She is much higher. Girl has more *solo* major wins and top 8s than Aegis right now and these majors were prestigious.

@@PeachTimeX She is a solid character thats carried by a great player/character specialist plus having a lot of meta relevant MUs. If the meta was different she would be way worse; she loses to some weird characters

@benross9174 who cares if she loses to 1-2 weirdo characters if those same weirdo characters will never be relevant? Plus it's not like she hard loses so badly to them that she cannot take a set. Shadic literally beat Yaura's Samus at Genesis X with a DOUBLE 3-stock Corrin is fine Also Shadic isn't the only Corrin rep. We got DieGorou now who is cooking with upsets and of course we have Neo cooking in early 2024 and late this year he is feasting on China's scene. Dude wins every regional lol Also if she is doing this good in a meta like this she is by definition a super strong character. What you said about "Corrin being carried by the current meta" could br said about literally any other good character lol. Its the players and characters that define a meta. Remember when Ike was winning majors and making top 8s? He was viable then become players were bad. Now that they are good he fell off while Corrin went way up. Stuff happens

@@yamalith yeah she literally has true 4-5 hit combos that deal about 40-50% and Cloud ain't doing this. If anything Cloud is the carried one because it's literally JUST Sparg0 (and even Sparg0 said this himself on Lights Out! He doesn't think Cloud is solo viable at all). Corrin has 3+ reps cooking

@@PeachTimeX Ike is a bad comparason I think because as you yourself said he got worse mostly because it stopped being early meta and his linearity started really becoming prevalent. Especially when people started getting good at parrying; that was the big nail in the coffin for his viability. Its not like people had a pocket Ike ready for some scary dominating top tier. His viabikity had most to do with the skill level reflecting the early meta. Corrin generally loses to characters that outranks her and fast speedy characters that outmashes her and can get in with burst options. Its not juts niche characters; having a -2 to Fox is a big deal. Samus, Joker, Snake are also very popular bracket characters; her 15 losing MUs (according to Shadic) arent all irrelelevant. I think she is good; arguably the third best swordie. But in a bracket setting having that many losing MUs, as well as some universal flaws like mid movement and bad grounded options hurts a lot. If you try and chip her out and play really grounded thats universal good counterplay; especially since she doesnt have a good burst option(her DA and movement are mid). Being good/solid into Sonic, Steve etc is really good ofc but you have to actually make it there. Which you can if your a dedicated solo main like Shadic but her flaws (as well as her stenghts too tbf) are pretty apparent. Its not like Shadic nor Neo themselves thinks she is top 15 or anything

Finally, someone is putting Link where he needs to go on the tier list. As someone who plays him at locals and stuff and wins with him, people put him way too high on the list because "he has all this crazy stuff." That's true, but it's insanely niche and insanely hard to pull off. He's got a solid kit, nothing too crazy but not unplayable, and that's it.

Aight sorry mate, but only a bit in, and I think you’re, very simply, just too harsh on some characters- generally, villager does not belong that low, wherever he does belong, and Inkling, saying now that she’s somehow just bottom half, or even bottom third (cant remember, but shouldn’t even be half), as to say, not a good character at all, hell even just higher mid fgs, just because she’s not the great one we thought she was, idek what to say. And thats just as far as ive gotten, but i saw someone else say Pit didn’t even make mid tier either. Im still gonna watch the rest dgmw, I’ll listen to a pros tier list even if i cant see it, keep doing the stuff.

it's a double jump cancel, you can double jump and input a special move shortly after and it cancels your jump momentum. it's really easy, just go to training mode for a minute and you'll get it

The names you have for the tiers are very weird. Having literal top 10ers in a tier called solo viable? is kind of insane. One of the greatest strengths of ult as a game is that over half the characters in the roster are solo viable. Sure, having a secondary is nice, but it really isn't required to get results with the majority of characters. Hell, we have a Banjo & Kazooie player in our top 30. (for reference Banjo is 57th on this tier list)
