I was so hoping that you’d get an unboxing of one perforated DPs. I’m glad to hear that we should still be able to section with washi tape on our own. I love using washi and don’t want to lose the ability to enjoy that accessories.

Wow!! She's so pretty! I don't collect all the zodiacs, I only buy mine which also happens to be my mom's as well, and from what I've been told, it could be the end of 2024 or possibly early 2025 before it releases. My zodiac sign is Taurus and it's absolutely gorgeous. I purchased Taurus by Ciro Marchetti which is the very first DAC I completed. I absolutely must have Dakota's when it comes out!!! 😍♉️

The perforated cover is very neat! I'd still use washi tape on top, because I feel it may be hard to see where the edges of the sheet actually are.

Hi Katie, good morning from Los Angeles County. Beautiful canvas. I had the song Aquarius from the play Hair playing in my head. Like the preperated sections. Actually you could take a 10x10cm off and replace with release paper. I have Dakota daetwiler Scorpio. I plan to get Sagittarius( my Mom), Capricorn ( Mom's Mom)and cancer( Dad and sister).

Thanks Katie. This is so gorgeous! I am still on the fence about the perforated cover. I have a feeling I will still use washi and cut my cover because I have so much trouble with seeing the edges of the clear cover. I will just have to wait and see when I get one.

I love the perforated cover sheet. Along with the issue of the magnets falling off the cover minders, they are also a choking hazard for those with small children around. Great idea DAC.

The perforated cover sounds amazing! I usually do 10cm by **cm depending on the size so this sounds so interesting! I purchased some Black Friday kits but haven't opened them to inspect. I wonder if I have them already 🤭I can't wait to see you kitting this up and working on it when you have a chance to, the blues are absolutely beautiful in this.

I love that you measured the perforated sections. They're what my second usually are! So they should line up with the lines of the drills perfect if they played it down right! I'm actually looking forward to them now! I was leery when I first heard about them! I have only been trying to collect all the Chrissa zodiacs. Otherwise just the prettiest ones to my eye and taste. Usually Aquarius and Libra. They're usually my favorites even though I'm a Pisces, lol

I'm excited to try a perforated canvas. I'll have to open some of my new kits to see if they have it or not! I mostly buy kits that catch my eye/are my zodiac. I'm buying my big three from ChrissaBug. I got the Gemini and Aquarius, and I am waiting for them to drop the Aries. I wonder if DAC has data on which zodiac signs are more popular from buyers, because I find it hard to find any Aries kits. I'll be patiently waiting though!

I would be surprised it I use the perforated sections. I like to lay the plastic cover over my canvas even when I have applied the drills to protect it from dust and pet hair. I will miss the cover minders.

I dont love the idea of discontinuing the cover minders. Mostly because I and my sister collect them..... And no Ill probably continue to use my release paper and cutting my own size. I do think the perforated cover will make it easier to get a straight line when I cut for the paper.

I wish DAC would release Aries zodiac artwork. I can’t be the only Aries who diamond paints and I’ve been seeing the same couple of zodiacs each zodiac drop. 😢

I’m currently working on Bernadette which has the perforated cover. While great in theory it doesn’t necessarily easily rip along the perforations. I got one section to rip well but the next two the rip wasn’t as clean across. I think I’ll go back to using release paper

I watch most of your video's. You complete a lot of paintings, but you never frame or display any. Would love to see some hanging/framing ideas and video's.
