Dacia Duster 2024 VS Lada Niva 4x4 Off Road

I have offroaded 2 nivas back in the 80s and 90s.They were definitely go anywhere.I got rhem into places where I would have chickened out but Niva kept going.Watch the amazing back axle articulation which helps keep weight evenly distributed across all four wheels. Currently run a series 2 Duster 4x4 115 hp blue hdi. Have yet to try it out fully off road but so far so good!

As part of our emigration to Bulgaria, my wife (actually!) wants a car for the bad roads to our property. I would like to have the Niva in the five-door version, but it is no longer available in German Absurdistan. My wife then came up with the idea of ​​purchasing a Duster from 2023, which was only occasionally available as a new car. Now we're picking up a 2023 Suzuki Vitara as a new vehicle next week, but, for heaven's sake, as a "strong hybrid". I'm not necessarily thrilled with it, but my wife thinks it's nice and it was cheap.

yes, felt plates, they definitively make me suspicious.... how long before they really fail miserably....I am guessing when wet snow comes they will collect water and ice and you'll probably loose them anyhow......otherwise, your Duster 3 gives a solid and reliable impression on these tracks....wouldn't complain at all 👌

folosim ce avem pe masini la momentul filmarilor, cand o sa fiu milionar in euro, o sa fac cadou cate un set de anvelope pentru fiecare masina care vine la offroad cu mine. :)), la fel ca cele de pe Duster, dar mai e pana acolo. Deocamdata ne descurcam cu ce avem.

the Duster 2 is better, but the one with the diesel engine. For me this model (the third gen) seems build for on road more than for the offroad. Especially on the suspension, which might be a deal breaker for many. Luckily, there is the option of upgrading the suspension and have an advantage in offroad.

After the Niva leaves the assembly line, it immediately needs modifications, I doubt that there is even one owner who has not modified anything, so I suggest considering it stock😁

No lo range good for nothing but putting a new clutch in every time you go off the tarmac, just the same as Subaru useless with out a lo box, it's down to cheap lasey engineering,why can't you buy a car that will do some work, all you get gimmick stupid buttons and screens that tell you to give the dealer more money, this car could have been good if it had more suspension travel,a lo range, and some thing called a proper engine not a 3 cylinder short life eco throw away engine that actually kills the planet more because it won't last.
