Pollution and ultimately money, I assume. Manufacturers whose cars don't fit within the pollution norms have to pay a heavy penalty, which Dacia, being a low-cost car, cannot afford.

Ce vina are UE ca trebuie sa ia masuri ca sa nu ne inghita apele orasele si ca sa nu murim de foame cand se duce dracului agricultura din cauza aceleasi incalziri globale? Crezi ca Dacia n-ar vrea sa puna motoare serioase pe masinile lor? Asta este situatia, iar mediul, si viata intregii populatiei globale sunt mai importante decat un mic disconfort temporar.

Penso que não deves estar preocupado com o desempenho off road do novo dacia duster pois acho que vai ser igual ao da anterior geração, já em relação ao motor 1.2 gasolina eu estaria eu teria algumas preocupações tanto no que diz respeito ao consumo bem como à fiabilidade

I think dacia stopped the production of duster at model 2. After that it is just some trying but not achieving.
