@DactusCactus 18:55 that right there, the water discoloration is because it is in a deep/cold ocean biome. You are in a warm ocean biome, which contains the coral riefs. The deep/cold ocean is the deep ocean, which is cold. It can be a part of the warm ocean, but also it can be on the surface too.

pretty sure the different color water in the ocean perimeter is due to the changes of biomes as the world eater went lower, mustve ran into a cave biome with a different color of water. Thats just my idea!
