Dr. Phil, just like Oprah, loves to exploit a person's misery, tragedy, or humiliation. I seriously doubt the uncle knew his nephew "son" was going to show up in drag on stage. He probably expected a one on one with his nephew without the drag, and if the nephew truly wanted to have this conversation he would not have shown up on stage like that, just out of respect. The nephew has every right to be whatever he wants to be, and dress up however he wants, but he knew his uncle was not going to be comfortable with it and would be embarrassed on tv. Dr. Phil also knew it would be good ratings if the nephew showed up that way. It would be completely different if he revealed his new look to a classmate, co-worker, or neighbor. But that is family.
