It seems that Dan was upset with his dad, maybe even so much so that he was not at all happy once he made him go to bed. I could hear something going 😔 n behind that wall. But his wife kept talking so we couldn't hear. I don't want to think it but I'm not sure he didn't hit him. She wouldn't shut her mouth so we could hear. And when Dan came back and turned the camera off he seemed mad to me. Did anyone else notice any of that or is it just St me. Why did he make him go to bed like he did???? It's not my business but I really thought I was hearing some fussing going on but not clearly. Because his wife kept talking so we couldn't hear.

This is an excellent example of living in the moment. Great job Dan reminding people to not ask questions that he can't answer. The memory fades in the reverse of how it was built. Thats why he knew what his parents did for a living, but has trouble with remembering who his kids are.

I am the primary caregiver for my 58 yr. old Down Syndrome brother Ed. It’s an all day/all night thing so when it gets to bedtime it’s bathroom, brush teeth, wash face, tuck into bed with a kiss and now my time to relax. Sounds like Dan needed his well deserved rest time.

I actually love watching this because he isn’t a harmful person. He’s just repetitive. I think that though he does show all of the signs of dementia I think he just wants to reinforce he wants safety so I don’t think he’s crazy. He’s just going back to his biggest concern.
