Some people don't even deserve to be called "dad."

That's why we call them "sperm donors".

"Why didn't you tell me?" You blocked them and never gave them a way to contact you. They had to hire a professional to find you. Why do people get mad when people can't tell them anything? Like they have to idea how to get a hold of you, and you blocked them.

You can't steal something that the other person willingly threw away. That father is clearly remembering a different timeline.

The _audacity_ of that man! He _left_ that failing business with his daughter and his mother, let _them_ sort it out _after_ receiving _his_ buy-out from OP's maternal grandparents, and then he just up-rooted and cut _both of them_ out of his life - and somehow he expects something from his deceased mother _and_ to be given back the now successful business that he didn't want a damn thing to do with in the first place? If stupidity is a disease he's down so hard with the sickness.

OP has earned everything she's gotten there, the 'dad' is an absolute joke of a man

Exactly. The Dad DID inherit the business, as intended by the Grandfather, but the Dad was only interested in a quick buck, hence why it wanted to sell it and why he only turned up after it became a money-maker. And he sold his share, so that's his inheritance gone.

I will say it was good that her maternal grandparents could afford it and probably the best decision OP and Grandma made. RIP Grandma. You were a real one.

Didn't realise you could sell something, then claim it was stolen when it's worth money in the future. Can't wait until I'm in my 60s and my first car is considered a high value classic, so I can claim it was stolen by used car dealers, ha ha ha.

its very respectable she was still calling him dad, that title should've dropped when he left.

OP is a badass. She should make the father beg and then dangle a carrot to work at your business. Eventually, tell him he can be the janitor and scrub toilets 😂 and never promote him ever

Wow!! Those tears weren't from shame of the horrible treatment from him all those years: but because he realized you weren't gonna give in and he was crying because he saw the money he thought he deserved, was never going to him..
@lillia24794 ай бұрын
The only time he cried was when he didn't get free money cuz he somehow got "cheated" from the family business that he abandoned. He didn't even cry for his literal family passing. This showed exactly how selfish he is.
@sherryzmezzo3 ай бұрын
Whether he earned it or not doesn't matter. He inherited it honestly. He had no power over his grandmother's wishes, and in that situation, all that matters is what she wanted.

No, no, no, no. Dad doesn't deserve even the lowest position in your business. He abandoned you, his mom, and the business, but he still expects that he is handed it all back on a silver platter.

He sold his half of the business and so therefore has no claim.

Father had his chance to either make amends or accept the business and he threw it in his mother’s face and desperately tried to sell it away. His father would want the op to have it and keep it in the family. The dad is grasping at straws and he knows it.

@@exokings_nctprinceshuangzi8634 I'd believe that more if there were links to the original posts, usernames provided, or they left the names the same so you could look the story up yourself. But because nobody is giving credit to any redditors on these channels, we only have the video to work off of. Some of these genuinely could be entirely fake and not even posted on Reddit at all, and there's really no way to tell from here.

@FlipTheBard4 ай бұрын
Wow...OP's father is SO childish! She literally helped save the family's bussiness and bring it back into action, all while her father abandoned her and her grandma(his own mother!) to their own luck. And now that the business is thriving he feels like this bussiness is something that is "owed" to him just because if was his father(OP's grandfather) that made it? The guy was dumb and selfish(as well as lazy since he just wanted to sell the bussiness rather than work on it), he's only crying because now he realized what an amazing thing he gave away in exchange for money(as he sold his share to OP's maternal grandparents).He's crying because he's missing on "all that *easy* money", as if the bussiness itself raised from the dead just like that. OP is way more mature than her loser of a sperm donor, because that manchild isn't even qualified to be called a "father".

He didn't throw it away, he sold it. Also OP kinda weak. I know people that didn't go beyond elementary school with multiple businesses. Remember kids, you have to be a good sales person. You're either selling your skills, just your time, or product. A combination sometimes, but you're selling something. So get people skills even if you're awkward.

Compare this story's writing style with the one yesterday about OP's father's head injury. This (fake) vs the other (real). Anytime someone asks "how do you know this is fake?" Just show em the head injury story.

Yta for being extra. You know damn well you’re not in the wrong. Instead of honoring your mother and taking care of you, he abandoned you and your grandmother to fend for y’all selves. Then he comes crawling back and brain rottingly says you stole the business from him, when he was the one who abandoned it. And if that wasn’t enough, he irritatingly claims what your mother would say/thing. 0 self awareness because we know what she think of him for abandoning everything to live his new life. He is a joke of a man and sorry excuse of a father. How you faltered in your decision is beyond me and makes me angry
@sebastianbachee29614 ай бұрын
I earned the business because I handled the social media page and told grandma what to do sometimes. Lmao.
