I always thought you were a little basic so I kind of avoided your videos, but now that I saw you, I could've never been more wrong in my life. I love you guys, keep up with the videos!

I'm a hard-gainer, like Devon. It's an adjustment, for sure. The things that really helped me stick with it are 1.) the gains (You'll be amazed by the difference proper nutrition makes in maximizing your results from the gym. Super motivating.) and 2.) doing the math to ensure you hit your macro goals. With all the effort and dedication you're putting in, you become really invested in hitting your daily goals so that you're seeing maximum results. After a while, stuffing yourself just becomes mechanical. You barely even taste the food anymore. It's just like, "Cram it in! Cram it in!" The good news is that your stomach will acclimate to the excess input and pretty soon your appetite will grow to comport with your new diet.

Devon i feel you!! I started my journey like 2 months ago and it was pretty satisfying. The gym work out is not that hard compare to eating 7 meals per day. 7 fcking meals!!!!!!! And i feel you when you said that the protein shake is already 1 meal. But i swear you’ll get used to it in a week or two plus your dadbod Robb is there beside you. Oopsie i mean dad.

Good luck with your meals. I think it will just take time to get used to eating many smaller meals. Can't wait to go on this journey with you. Much love.

I think you guys look perfect as you are now. And Devin.. be careful what you wish for. I used to be a hard gainer when I was in my teens upto my late 20’s. Then started gaining weight when I reach my 30’s😭. I gain like a pound just by looking at pizza 🍕😭😭😭

Tips and tricks? Sorry, I'm on Rob's team (whether I ie it or not) so in the middle of the same struggles: one issue you have not mentioned (maybe the coaching guy has input on this too) is what to do when it becomes clear some eating is not related to hunger, but is a (childhood/learned) response to stress, pressure, internal emotional states etc. Would be interested to have some education sometime on that element of eating patterns if it is relevant to your journeys (maybe we can meet your trainer sometime too?).

I feel Rob's pain. I've lived 30 years with someone who does not gain weight whereas, I have a total dad body. I think it's important to look good to a certain extent but after age 50, I'd rather not deny myself ice cream.

I applaud your efforts to work on your bodies. If you are not happy with your physical appearance, then you should work on the changes necessary to bring yourself closer to the physical nature that you imagine. Don't look for perfection, as that is fleeting. Excellence is attainable. Just for the record, however, I have to let you know, that I love you guys just the way you are. You are your own unique selves. As always, I send you love and hugs. Greg G.

Lots of dried and fresh herbs, lemon & lime juice, balsamic vinegar. I don't know how your trainer feels about salt, so many herb blends may be ??? Also a splash of dry wine or sherry can really explode flavors of herbs on poultry and fish, and eggs. Research "best tasting/consistency" for your whey supplements. Some of those tasty flavors can be your treats, Rob. Get a stick blender, and also a mixer (shaker) cups for your shakes. Lumps are no one's fave. Rob: I love Walmart's Peach Iced Tea (Crystal Light, but 40% cheaper than that or store-brand sodas) for a treat. Make Splenda your friend. Diabetics have great recipes for low cal desserts and treats. Search for them. Discover "freezer canning" those summer fruits for winter variety. Devon: Don't be overwhelmed by the meal quantities. You can't reasonably go from 2 to 8 meals daily overnight! Don't kick yourself if you can't eat that much the first week. Your stomach will stretch and your gut grows accustomed to it with a little time and patience. And Rob, your stomach will shrink and adapt too. Get through the first week, then see how you're doing with it before making judgements about meeting the plan. Grace is good! (But is not an excuse for continued lack of effort/challenge in weeks 2+.) Best wishes! Slay those goals! Results are measured in your happiness and satisfaction, not just in inches or pounds!

Almost one year later....how are things going? Did you two keep with the program? Did Devon start breathing protein shakes? Did Rob buy shares in that favorite Tibetian restaurant you had your cheat meal at? Inquiring minds want to know...LOL

P.S. I am small like Devon, but not as small. I played soccer all my life but I always stayed the same weight because I never worked out outside of playing. 5 years after not playing soccer, I gained maybe 5 pounds. Rooting for you both! Looking forward to your updates! You guys got this!

Devon - you already look like an after photo. Rob - abs are very 90s. However having goals is always a good thing and doing it together will certainly help. Also guessing you are going somewhere like Hawaii in a few months.

I would like to be able to afford something like this... Have someone to prepare a meal plan and exercise plan. I think it would help with my depression 😒. I mean is 3am and I'm watching KZbin because my sleep cycle is out of whack. Love your videos and Instagram by the way.

Chubby? Rob isn't chubby. People are not kind. I think you're very sexy like you are, but if you're not comfortable with your body, do it. (For yourself, not for the others) Same thing for Devon...😊 I wish you to succeed.

@jacqueschristen99597 жыл бұрын
White-Fedora I was very chubby, I'm still overweight and feel relatively comfortable like that. All I can say is that some people sometimes hurt me with words like chubby, intentionally or not ...
@CampbelliteSoF7 жыл бұрын
I do understand. I haven't been skinny since I was two. I have dropped about 75 lbs, and still have a way to go, too. But I also know that being healthy and comfortable in my own skin is important, no matter what the scales may say. And congratulations on your weight loss progress! Way to go,buddy!

I don't get it. Devon is supposedly a hard gainer and then says he only eats two meals a day? It doesn't take a nutritionist to tell you to eat more food with protein to gain weight. A google search can do that.

well good luck to you...let me tell you getting the weight off after you reach a certain age is a lot tougher than when you are young like you 2...it's the processed food that gets you....PS new research shows that the best way to loose weight and keep it off is thru fasting .Devon already does fasting
