it seems the more your pops listen to Cole, the more he likes him. in my opinion Cole is one of the best artists to introduce to the older generation.
@fxrdo Жыл бұрын
facts!! cole always seemed wiser and more mature than most artists his age and was all about the grind, makes sense why pops likes him so much.
@amanSpawn0010 ай бұрын
@@fxrdothere’s a reason Nas co-signs Cole People say he’s boring or corny but I never got that He ACTUALLY has the flow that we wished to hear on records The sad thing is? His blow up happened around the time of the resurgence of Battle Rap Which to be fair, bar wise? Cole ain’t as good as a the battle rappers But that’s kinda unfair cuz 98% of the industry is bar wise weaker than battle rappers Cole is a solid writer rapper as well as a songwriter. Which is a bit different from writing just bars He’s great overall. And you right. Most the older folks LOVE Cole

This album cemented Cole as an all time great in terms of rap ability. Flow, Cadence, Bars, even his vocal inflection you can feel every emotion he’s trying to get through. Its crazy that he has albums and mixtapes people consider classics that he dropped a decade ago yet his rapping ability is steadily improving until this day. Hes one of the goats for sure

I completely agree with the off season being top 1 j. Cole album. With most of the top artist, their earlier projects really showcased their skills and because they had something to prove. In their new projects they just do what they want whether it’s the best they can do or not. With Cole, it just feels like his hunger is getting stronger at every project, it’s like even though we all know Cole is one of the greatest, he feels he still has something to prove, and I love that about his music. Great video by the way, love yalls channel! 🖤

I wouldn’t go so far as to say this album is better than FHD but it’s definitely in Cole’s top 3 albums and it never got the love it should’ve got when it dropped. It’s near perfect. The lyrics, the variety of flows, the production, features. Some absolute bangers like My life, to the more mellow joints that tell a story like Let go my hand (one of my fave Cole songs ever), this is indeed Cole at his very best.
