My first thought when I listened to the vault tracks v. the main album is that the vault song sound more like 80s euro-pop as opposed to US pop. I love the first and last of the vault tracks.

I think Dad might be missing the point about Slut! It isn't about a dangerous relationship or the feeling of anxiety in a tentative love story. It's her just taking back a word which has been used against her so many times and leaning into it. She's the one controlling how the word is used in relation to her for once.

My wife and daughters saw The Eras Tour movie in theaters (Rachel went a few times) and then I watched it with them when it was streaming. When the Long Pond Sessions first came out, I was in the room when my girls watched it, but I think I was playing games on my phone. I don't remember anything about it. And then I've seen a few songs from the 1989 tour that Rachel has shown me. I'm sure she's seen all the stuff you listed. There's a lot for me to react to! Thanks for watching and for your question.
