Hey Brian, you did good on the video, down home. If you buy it I would suggest the long tube headers. The exhaust will breath better and it will have a deeper sound. The only criticism I have is the color but that is purely taste. I had a inferno orange camaro and most liked it but some didn't? That PERFECT blue TA you have is sweet and it would love a t56 to save those revs. Can't wait for your next video, thanks sir.

Hey thank you very much, really appreciate that. Was thinking the same for the car:) Did end up getting it, although I have to finish paying dad lol. Appreciate the advice, I like the idea of a deeper sound on it. Gonna make another video soon, with a better view! Haha. Glad you like the blue TA as well, means a lot, it's special to me.

Super nice! Hopefully you bought it. I've always loved these. In my last comment i said how my Dad had the 77, 79 and his last was the 1993 that he drove off the showroom floor and how he didn't like the 82-92 models. But, i definitely did and still do.

Awesome car. I’d buy it if I were you. Special cars are special. Doubt you’d find another like that. I just bought a 94 Z28 the other day, very similar to my original 95 that was my first car. Something just feels right. Even better than I thought it would to have it back. Engine light came on yesterday briefly lol… I wish I knew all the technical stuff like you, and wish I could do the work myself (is it too late to learn?). I think maybe the air filter just needs replaced. After I turned the car back on, light was off.

Thanks very much, probably will lol, especially since it was dad's. That CE light is probably nothing serious, congrats on the Z28 btw. And no sir, never too late to learn more, I'm still learning too. Ask me questions anytime.

That's a great car. Best of both worlds - old school F body with a modern powerplant. Definitely the right decision to keep it in the family IMHO.

I am curious would the t56 be a direct bolt in if it was still using the SBC motor.
@Feral80sKid
@Feral80sKid Жыл бұрын
It is, the lt1's were a sbc too, and they had t56's, just make sure you get correct bellhousing, trans cross member, driveshaft etc., God knows what else.

Buy it? Really Dude? You couldn't know more about the car unless you bought it originally. Just think a minuite about how many people search out their Dad's Musclecar and can never really get it back. I had a 97 Chameleon Green Trans Am 6 spd. manual 3/4 Cam 3" Catback exhauest all the way out the back, cold air intake with it's mods 400 HP at the wheel it was a beast but unfortunately a move to the midwest made me trade it out for an SUV.......Don't be an idiot.....If you can afford it, Keep It in the Family.
@Feral80sKid
@Feral80sKid Жыл бұрын
Lol yeah, easy decision. I remember when that Chameleon came out I loved it. You're right, I'd definitely regret it, afford it yes but it would hurt a little, he's in no hurry to sell, I will probably end up getting it in a few months, need to pay off my 78 first.
