I enjoy your calm, down to earth way of presenting. No unnecessary overhyped shenanigans like a majority of KZbinrs. Keep up the good work and happy to join you in your journey. Subscribed! I'm also coming from previous V8 muscle cars to a 3 cylinder but like u just said I'm smiles all the way.

Thank you very much for the love, really means a lot to me. Definitely agree on the overhyped stuff 😄🤝 The GR is definitely cool, it's so unique and good looking with the styling, and a blast to drive. Cool that you're into the V8 stuff as well, I'm like you, love all cool cars, very gracious for your subscribe and comment, love talking cars with others:)

I have a 2022 Camaro SS 1LE 6speed that I am probably trading in this week when the GR shows up at the dealer. Love the Camaro but it just sits in my garage. Only has 4k miles after 2years and some other things that is having me get rid of it. It was a fun car but I am excited to get the GR. Will be nice to actually enjoy the rowing of gears because the Camaro gears are so tall that you are breaking all the laws by alot at top of 2nd so you can really enjoy going through all the gears as much.

Sounds awesome, having owned both I prefer the 6th gen Camaro over the GR just for my own preference, but all in all both EXCELLENT cars and you won't be disappointed my friend, had a 2021 LT1 with the M6, tuned on ethanol. Corolla for sure gives you an easier to see out of car lol, couldn't fit my head outside my Camaro, short windshield too haha. Pretty cool that you're into all different kinds of cars like me🤝🤙

@@Feral80sKid that’s one of my bigger issues with the car. I have a small space issue and it wasn’t really bad when I got the car. But this past season of driving it. Seems to have gotten worse and I get real uncomfortable in the cabin being so small and dark. Figure why keep a car that makes me uncomfortable in anything more than a 20min drive.

@05xrunner Agreed 100%, fantastic cars though the alpha chassis, feels well built, handles phenomenal, brutally quick. Just a warning though, Corolla is incredible but did ride much rougher than my 2021 LT1, much rougher. It did smooth out quite a bit after 1k miles however, definitely more usable than the Camaro, but rear hatch is surprisingly small, not any easier to get in and out of either, but I'm 6ft 1.

This is one kick ass Corolla! I was kind of turned off by the 3 cylinder aspect of it at first but from what everyone says, it's blissful and being a Toyota it's the only way I'd have a 3 cylinder. Sounds great too! I think this car is completely worth the price also. Great review. Thanks for recommending this from your Celica GT-S review, I love that damn Celica btw! If I were to win the lotto I'd have at least one of every generation made. I also love the 1st gen Eclipse, Talon, Laser. When I first saw the Eclipse in a magazine in 1989 I fell head over heels. Contrary to others, I don't care for the 2nd gen Eclipse and Talon or any other gen for that matter. I wish Toyota would bring back a VVTLi Celica and NO hybrid/electric cvt crap.

Really good questions lol, sold the Camaro for a profit over what I had in it. Still regret it, now that I have the GR I miss the raw power compared to the LT1 motor. The GR is more useful as a daily, and a riot around turns etc.. The Scatpack is also great, but you see Challenger/Chargers eeeeevery friggin where. I'm more of a domestic car guy so I'd still do the Scatpack though lol. It's a win either way for you IMO, you'd have a rare bird with the GR as well, and something with a rally car homologation drivetrane, which is beyond cool. My dad had a 2012 Charger R/T and a Mopar 10 Edition Challenger 6 speed, as well as a 71 Cuda 383 Convertible he bought new so Mopars are special to me too.

I have a GR Yaris but if they sold the corolla in the UK i probably would have got that instead as it looks better and the yaris is not very practical. The rear seats are pretty useless and the trunk is tiny. The one thing it does have that this doesn't though is a plaque in the centre console that says "designed for the WRC" which is why I bought it lol. These are quick cars that are built to be as fast as anything on backroads. If you don't really go above 100mph then this is supercar fast and when do you need to go faster than that anyway? you are gonna lose your licence and possibly go to prison so these cars are perfect for real world fast driving
