Cool Haul Brother. Nice work on that Spear you’re crafting. That interesting old aboriginal Knife is pretty cool. Especially with The elaborate sheath/Scabbard. My guess is its was made by coastal people possibly south east Asia maybe. Dig that little marbles’ mini hatchet- the head is a copy in style of a Fur Trade Era trapper’s Bag axe-from 1700’s. Great stuff 👍

@@CuttingEdgetools So the one thing I deduced about that knife was wrong, it isn't North American at all?! Live and learn! I have an extremely rusty Kriss I found for a song on eBay, one of those offers including multiple items. The Kriss has a strong scent of incense and beneath all the rust the steel has a swirly texture like a Damascus. Some knife makers told me that the standard Temple Kriss should be made from a meteorite so perhaps that is a bona fide South East Asian treasure,!

My dad always told me I paid too much for tools. I got a Klein 6 in 1 screwdriver once. He asked me how much I paid. When I told him, he pulled out a drawer full of 50 of them and said I could have taken one of his. He goes to auctions and yard sales. He had a 5 gallon bucket full of hammers once that he paid five bucks for. He then proceeded to sell them all individually. I gotta get back in there and work on the spear.

@@Captain-Electro that is sound. Your father also displayed a keen appreciation for the value of tools and it sounds like he wasn't afraid to have too many! A bucket of hammers sounds lovely :D
