I had one and like a fool I let it get away. There was undoubtedly something else I wanted more. It was probably the most accurate 22 rifle I’ve ever owned. Great video sir.

When you move the rear sight, try putting some masking tape by the sight and making where the sight is at. Now tap the sight and watch to see if it is moving from where you marked it.

The 39A is marvelously accurate. Many people have fired their first-ever firearm shots with mine and the good targets encouraged many of them to take up the shooting activity. It’s designer, L. L. Hepburn had to have been a genius to get it so right, and he has the action timed perfectly-no computer assisted design. It’s said he was capable of both design and manufacturing engineering, and developed the forging, milling, and woodworking tooling as he built up drawings and prototypes. His IQ probably shot off the charts.

This is great feedback! It's good that you get people interested in shooting and a true statement about the action being perfect without the aid of computers! Thank you for supporting the channel!

Hello friend, let me share my thoughts. When I rifle is passed down from father to son, ( as it should) that rifle and son become a more accurate team.

Pretty sure the front site hood was an option and not all from that era had them.
