@@BradBrown95 There must be a dad training course where they all learnt the same stuff. Be careful hey, I am a grandad now and not only do I remember saying some of these things but I hear my son doing the same with his kids.

I can relate to this as my old man had a shocking memory & would often utter lines like these 👍😂
@henrycooper4213 Жыл бұрын
You completely missed the joke. These are phrases dads use maybe it’s just an English and Australian thing. But this is Carls act where he pretends to be stupid and is making fun of how the Aussie language is used by fathers. It’s actually nothing to do with a dad having a bad memory.
@gerardroll6468 Жыл бұрын
@@henrycooper4213 … My dad would use lines like these & leave me, my older brother & sister & younger sister “guessing” or even trying to guess just what on earth he was talking about . It was a form of “parental psychological warfare” from the old man 😳😂
@mickvonbornemann38249 ай бұрын

@@mickvonbornemann3824 … THANKYOU 👍😁. I understand & appreciate Carl’s humour perfectly, being Aussie myself. All I was saying was that my dad was an odd man who liked to play mind games with my brother, sisters & I when we were kids. He was quite a big man too (ex-military) but despite his intimidating size & physical presence, it was the mental warfare that would often drive us insane … But we still loved him & he also had a wicked sense of humour ☝️😆👍

My dad used all of these and then some. He’s just gone in to palliative care this week.. and even now, in his very few moments of clarity, he still manages to chuck out a good dad joke here and there. I came here to try to lift my mood a little tonight. You never fail to do that.. Appreciate you Carl ❤️

An Australian comedy TV series produced by stan with carl barron as the lead. He's the last repairman\handyman\fixer in a small country town that has to deal with today's social climate and the different personalities about Can centre it around a series story like his daughter going off to a city university and leaving the town I could just imagine Carl using his satire when fixing a modern appliance with AI wifi connectivity and smart home integration and dealing with the owner. Would be funny as.
