MrFlyboygully Too be honest, he is just cashing in on the opportunity. If you want to see the Zedd we all know, look at a live show, or listen to anything before his Clarity album. Tracks like Shotgun, Slam the Door, Alive (Zedd Remix), Fall Into the Sky, tracks like that. Then you see the melodic, complex Zedd, such as Lost At Sea, Stay The Night (KDrew and Zedd Remix), Push Play, etc. All in all, I think that he is a excellent producer, as well as DJ.

costinvaly1 Hey vali, I know about the dubstep drums (btw, Dyro said he samples snares from dnb tracks), I know a lot of his tricks and the way he works, but I really want to see him actually work. Wanna know why? Mainly because I want to see how he layers sounds. I mean I have an idea about the way he's doing it, but I'd rather see it than supposing. I want to create the same energy using LESS layers than I do now, you know? That's my goal. :) Not trying to copy, just going deeper into the "layering land". Plus that, he's a great producer so it'd be a win-win situation for everybody. Interesting fact about Spire's FM mod though.
@costinvaly1
@costinvaly1 10 жыл бұрын
***** When it comes about drums, DnB is "Uptempo" Dubstep, hahah. Well i understand your needs now. It would be great to see some Dyro's stuff on FutureMusic. All the best!
@Vingalinga
@Vingalinga 10 жыл бұрын
costinvaly1 He doesn't use FM synthesis. He mostly uses Sylenth and Massive. Also, his drums don't sound dubsteppy. He uses those hollow-progressive house kicks like Hardwell uses. Try vengeance electro shock 2 kick 68 and 88 for that.
@costinvaly1
@costinvaly1 10 жыл бұрын
Vingalinga Man, you're wrong. I don't say he doesn't use Massive and Sylenth1, i know he does use them, but in most of his hits songs he used Frequency Modulation (FM) synthesis too, here's a video proof: vine.co/v/bQdea2TBAv0 Regarding drums, i tried personally some drums from Vengeance Essential Dubstep. Vol.2 and the test came hugely close to Dyo's vibe. Just try for yourself. Who knows, maybe Vengeance use similar kicks through different packs, i don't know. So.. about FrequencyModulation Synthesis, i love synthesis in general, i learned most of the synthesis types and i do all the sounds from scratch (i even work for some sound design labels too) and believe me, i can sense FM Synthesis from miles away. Just try to rehearse and practice synthesis everyday for like two years and you'll realize what i meant. All the best.

The never-ending cycle of people complaining about this or that being "mainstream" is incredible. When Electro took over, what was the complaint? Swedish House took over for a little while, what happened? Progressive been holding on for a minute; So are the complaints about it! Now that Mainroom distorted type of kicks rule, what is happening? When and if Deep House or any other sub-genre under the electronic umbrella turns out to take over, what do you think will happen? The same never-ending complaints will be around to welcome them! The same "when it used to have 5% less of Sylenth1 in it" type of comments will be around. I guess people post these comments to make themselves look smart. I don't know! Oh Well, just another day under a KZbin video. :-)
