You need to watch star wars the clone wars, rebels, and bad batch asap, you’re missing so much. Mando might be ok, but the ahsoka show will be so confusing for you, if you don’t watch the animated stuff. Also, love the callback to the earlier episode, where Grogu was fixing the ship, and Din was looking through a small hole guiding him, but here it was Grief translating for Mando, such an underrated moment.

They are hyperspace whales called "purrgill". they are in "Rebels" and have an important part of the upcoming ashoka storyline... I recommend watching rebels..id "watch clone" wars to understand some things in "rebels". This is the way.

Chiming in to agree with others here. You're doing yourself a disservice by not watching the animated shows Clone Wars and Rebels, which are pretty essential to fully understanding and appreciating The Mandalorian, as well as shows to come like Ahsoka.

I guess to compensate for the show with Cara Dune's "Out-Excuse" from the series for her actress, we're getting IG-11 back!!!! (albeit a sidenote question that I am bit curious about though is if IG-11 does get restored, how exactly is IG-11 going to fit inside Mando's starfighter??? {Unless there's like a storage trailer he can attach on} Because at least we somewhat do know from the S3 trailer that R5-D4 might be going with Mando too since he was in his ship's droid port). Also, I'm not gonna lie: did anyone else possibly feel a slight "antagonist vibe" off of Bo at that end scene???

"they look like they could be in pirates of the Caribbean" me-"u speak prematurely, wait til u see their captain" lol.. those lil mini "babu frick" engineers are EVERYTHING! fun fact bo katans sister Satine and obiwan have a child (unconfirmed but alleged).. idk if u have seen the clone wars animated series, but it's ALOT of backstory of obiwan,anakin ashoka,bo katan, the mandolorian people and padme between ep2 n ep3 of the prequel trilogy during the war..its essentially everything they could not cover in the movies. it covers everything from what became of maul after he was "killed, ashoka n anakins bond,n truly shows anakin grow into a full jedi knight from a whiny ass sand hating pussy. as well as many other plot points that will probably become relevant in future series as well as the mandolorian series. things like where the children of the watch started (mandos cult), bo katans family n clan ect.

Apparently you have not watched Star Wars Rebels. That shadow Grogu was looking at in Hyperspace, is a Purrgil. You should watch both Star Wars Clone Wars and Rebels. Especially with the upcoming Ashoka series.

You may not be aware, the Armorer lady is the leader of a small cult of Mandalorians. They have always been extremists and zealots. When Mandalore was a thriving planet, the sane Mandalorians never wore their helmets except in battle. You know, like sane people. The zealots were banished to a small colony on a moon; they were so extremist that the planetary population didn't even want to share a planet with them. Then the Empire killed everybody on the planet but ignored the cultists on the moon. A tiny number of sane Mandalorians escaped, and some other Mandalorians were away doing business on other planets at the time, but otherwise their entire civilization was destroyed. Suddenly the extremist cult was the biggest single group of living Mandalorians. Din Jarin is a member of that cult. Bo-Katan Kryze is not.

Hi Mary, I am a war buff and as an Australian may I suggest a couple of things to watch. I’m a big fan if ANZAC day even though I’m American I was greatly impressed with Australian and New Zealand efforts in WW1. The mini series ANZAC Girls was incredible and a true story of the Nurses of WW1 and what they went through. Another movie is the true story of Australian diggers called “ Beneath Hill 60”. As a loyal subscriber, obviously your videos appear in my subscriptions feed. Myself and probably many others, don't have time to watch these episodes instantly - just be careful about your video titles, DON'T give spoilers, either in the title, or the thumbnail. I'm sure you don't do that on purpose, and you haven't done that with this one, but some of us may take a few days, if not a bit longer to get round to watching them. It's The Mandalorian, people are going to search, people who like you are going to watch, you don't need clickbait titles or thumbnails to draw people in.

This would have been a better ending....When she asked about the dark saber, and later called him a fool. Din says "No one calls me a fool. GET UP!" and then he ignites the dark saber and scrapes it on the ground! END CREDITS. It's out of character, but the second episode will take care of that. And in episode 2, they fight and he deliberately loses and she gets the dark saber. (no one said it had to be to the death, just defeated)

Is it me, or did the first pirate look a lot like the bad guy from Galaxy Quest? After all his experiences, I'm surprised Din is still fixating on being granted absolution for his "sin." There are obviously other Mandalorians who don't feel the need to never remove their helmet. ... So the main quest is finding the Mines of Mandalore. That will probably take the entire season. The first intermediate quest seems to be find a memory chip to rebuild IG-11. Fun Fact: I read that the "terminate" scene was included as a tribute to the first Terminator movie, where at the end the robot just dragged himself by his hand to terminate Sarah.

Hello there, Mary. Many fans, myself included, anticipate many callbacks to The Clone Wars and Rebels animated series. Particularly in regards to the importance of the Darksaber and its history. I understand you have lots on your agenda, but I as well as many others highly recommend you check out (at least) the relevant story arcs of those two series. As a bonus, you'll see some favorite characters get more development and meet new ones that are strong fan favorites. One of them being a very artistic daughter of Mandalore.
