To answer your questions in 8:46, yes, mandalorians can have partners. Possible they can see each other face but in private when eating.

For me the most illuminating moment was when she took off her helmet while eating. We see her real expression for the first time in "a long time" and how she is overwhelmed by how they treat her ...or disturbed by feeling bad about her intent to manipulate them into helping her return to power... Do you think that her shoulder with her silver beskar is a clue from Filoni that Din's first replacement was her shoulder with her beskar also silver?

I think he did more than that. My son has this theory... when Kelleran talks to the Queen's Guard, the guard asks him where the other younglings were... So he wasn't there just for Grogu. And as to how they knew so quickly... There was another person apart from Padme from Naboo present at the time who would have had a ship and sent someone to rescue the younglings.... JarJar

Poor Grogu who was traumatized remembering the night of Order 66 one of the most saddest moments in Star Wars history. But I'm glad Grogu is joining the Mandalorians and his training was awesome.

The best part of this episode was how "family oriented" the Mandalorian culture is. Vizla is hardly a likeable character. But then his son got taken.... and nothing else mattered. All of them were after him. Din, who not long ago fought Vizla for the Darksaber, flew head first into the creature's claw, to get it to drop the boy. Why? Because this is the way. When ANY Mandalorian is in danger, they all come to there defense.

If you think about it, the rescue comes full circle. It was Vizsla that led the team that came to Din and Grogu's rescue in season 1 episode 3.

I loved this episode seeing Kelleren have a big moment. It's been a real redemption arc for Ahmed Best. After years of getting sh*t on for Jar Jar, he bounces back with Jedi Temple challenge and now this. And the mission it was fun to see the Mando's work together as a community to do something other than a blunt force mission.

Seeing Ahmed Best (aka Jar Jar Binks) as Jedi Master Kelleran Beq saving Grogu was amazing! And seeing Grogu doing literally ANYTHING from training to walking is so cute that my heart almost bursts. Also the whole rescue of Ragnar Visla looked and felt like it was right out of the movies. And after seeing the Armorer forge armor for both Grogu and Bo-Katan I have a sudden urge to forge my own set of Mandalorian armor. Carl Weathers made one of the best episodes of the series with The Foundling. I just wish that this episode was longer, these episodes are becoming far to short.

I wonder if the armorer was nonchalant about the mythasaur because she wanted to not interfere with the prophecy of the next Mandalore. Thinking maybe it is Boka-ton or maybe Djinn, so she just wants to let it play out.

Jedi Master Kelleran Beq, also known as “The Sabered Hand” due to his mastery of lightsaber combat. He was also in charge of teaching the next generation of Jedi through the Jedi Temple Challenge (TV game show for kids). The actor originally played Jar Jar Binks in the prequel as well as a short cameo in Attack of the Clones as Kelleran’s brother (before the character of Kelleran was conceptualized). EDIT: They aren’t brothers but are related as stated by Ahmed Best. However, there isn’t a canonical source that confirms that the two characters are related.

I think the armorer totally believed that Bo saw the Mythosaur. She just wasn't surprised by it. The people who follow the way probably 100% believe the Mythosaur is real where Bo kinda scoffed at it and said it was just a story. Until she saw one for herself.

I think another interesting angle on that conversation is that she is very intentionally being vague and not confirming anything she cannot verify as fact, because as Din pointed out earlier in the episode, by Creed, "One does not Speak when One does not Know."

This wasn't Kelleran Beq's deput appearance. He was first in a web series called Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge (which is basically Star Wars meets Legends of the Hidden Temple). As other Jedi took up command in the GAR, Beq continued to oversee those Jedi who underwent the Trials.

I didn’t think that Paz should’ve been apart of the hunting party being who the taken child was. He got lucky. Their way of clapping is makes more sound than if they used their gloved hands. The sound would be muffled with their gloves.

I like the fact that the shield that the Armorer made had the sigil of Clan Djarin, which makes sense since Din and Grogu ARE a clan of two. Speaking of clans, I really don't see the Armorer surviving this season. I would not be surprised if Bo challenges her for leadership before the season is over.

I don't think the Armorer is the group's "leader," she is more like the group's shaman. And that's not really a challengeable position. Bo ain't going to start making armor. I think the Armorer will follow anyone who has, what she sees as, a legit claim to rule. At this point, I think the Armorer believes the Prophecy of the Mythosaur, and she herself thinks Bo, Din, and Grogu are the keys, or are potential candidates as the new Mand'alor.

Anakin would have been murdering younglings during the flashback. If he'd shown up, Grogu wouldn't likely exist. Padme was crying in their apartment. It's possible she arranged for the ship, but she seemed surprised when Obi told her what went down at the temple. My theory is that Representative Binks is the one that provided the ship.

I've always wondered why the Jedi didn't use the Force against the Clone Troopers, when Order 66 was given? Rather than just deflect the blasts, why didn't they force choke the Clone Troopers? Each Jedi was Force sensitive and I'm sure they could force choke more than one clone trooper at a time, so imagine what a group of Jedi could have done. Or at least use the force to crush their helmets or push them back or knock them off their feet and then swoope in to gut them with their light sabers, They were just to easily overwhelmed with blasters. Look at Luke Skywalker, he went through 99 Dark Troopers using the Force and his light saber...

Most of the Jedi left at the Temple were second file, non-combat specialists. Technicians, archivers, trainers, temple guards etc... Not very strong with the force, especially with an entire elite division suddenly attacking, led by a very powerful Sith and with heavy weapon support. The masters and fighters were on the frontlines. Force choking is actually a middling-gly advanced technique. Most could either use the force for strength, speed or athleticism, or a simple force shove. Vader and his choking was more of a rarity. Most Jedi are not Masters, but Knights, and most Knights were way weaker than Anakin.

Grogu chose to be a Mandalorian when he picked the armor and Din over the lightsaber and Luke. That was a choice he was given by Luke and made in Boba Fett, he chose to be a foundling when he picked the armor and returned to Mando.

That story is important but misplaced I think in the order of things. Hoping there are no more filler episodes. :)

I understand that the writers can't kill a child on Disney+, but the time it took for the Mandos to rescue the kid took me out of the episode. No way that kid isn't being digested by the time they get there. Birds typically feed their young multiple times an hour. The pacing of this series (and the other Disney+ shows) continues to undermine it.
