It is true that 41+% of trans youth attempt suicide but with parental support that figure drops to below 5%. I hope these dads realize just how important their acceptance is for their children's future. They epitomize unconditional love. Something every parent should have for their child.

I am sure Henry Berg-Brousseau, a former HRC employee, along with Kayleigh Scott, a poster child for United Airlines, along with a growing list of less prominent trans-people can all speak to the importance of family support. Oh wait, maybe they cant speak anymore. Speak FACTS and facts from a Swedish study are: for those who medically transition the ACTUAL suicide rate is 19X higher relative to a control group. These are not the early stages where you "think about it" or maybe even move on and "plan for it". This is the later stages where you actually attempt it to seek attention and perhaps attempt it with actual purpose. NO, the Swedish study concerns people at the final stage - they actually did it. Suicidal ideation is a horrific excuse to medicalize children - STOP DOING IT and stop using suicide as a instrument to coerce parents.

I support all people and whatever they want to do and I have friends that are gay but even I don't understand why doctors overseas for decades have been treating gender identity as a medical disease but here in politically correct USA parents just say to their young children "so your friends think you are a girl? You can be who ever you want" and never see a psychiatrist to treat this. Being gay is one thing, but to believe you are biologically supposed to be another sex is another and no doctors in the US want to treat this. It is not normal. People spend thousands of dollars on surgery and European doctors find suicides are still high even after full transitioning. That is because the brain is misfiring.
