When Eminem overdosed and was brought to the hospital he was hooked up to breathing machines and all kinds of stuff and he was sedated almost like in a coma state that's why he says " I go to make a fist, but I can't make one I'm frozen stiff, I yell but nothing comes out, I cry inside i shout, my vocal cords won't permit me I scream but it's not aloud". He could hear everything that was going on in the room but because he was in that coma like state he couldn't talk and couldn't open his eyes. Which is a very scary situation to be in. Thank you for reacting to castle and arose I was one of them that kept requesting it in every video lol and you guys did a great job I enjoyed watching it.

@SunDown Wow I'm glad you're still alive. My brother struggles with addiction and his girlfriend too, I've had to hit her with narcan several times while my brother was in jail they both live in my dad's house so she stood living there when he got arrested and every time I've had to give her that feels like the first it's the scariest thing to see especially when you have to try and save that person and hope it's not to late. I have had a lot of sleeplessness nights because I had to keep going to the room to check on her and make sure she was OK. It's crazy on how many people are addicted to drugs it's everywhere I'm sure everybody has someone in their family struggling with drugs or are addicted themselves. But I just want to tell you that you are important and you deserve all the good in this world I know I don't know you but just hold on don't give up keep trying to get help you are stronger than this even though you might not believe it you can overcome it. I'll keep you in my prayers and may God bless you.

It fucks me up because I was hit by a car and almost died. Remembering trying to speak but having a tube down my throat, remembering them taking me off and I wasn’t breathing and they had to intubate me again. I remember conversations but couldn’t do anything. Hearing how the doctors sounded, it seemed as if they thought I wasn’t going to pull through. I just found out 12 years later I died a few times... my mom never wanted to tell me. She did tell me they asked for a Chaplin so, I should have taken a hint. I just figured I was dire but not to the point of death. So this song fucking KILLS me. I just found it today... I stopped listening to rap but just came back. Sorry for being winded.

LMFAO I waited for hours waiting for the track to come on the radio just so I had it first. It was like 130am here in London when you said give your kids a hug. I did even though they were sleeping. I'm the only parent they have left now. Their dad died in July this year, (we were separated for 4 years) and his demons (read drugs) finally took him. I'm always hugging my kids they need double the amount now. They were too young to lose him, 12, 10,& 4 (at the time) he died 13 days before our youngest birthday. He was doing everything Em was, drug wise. This song always brings tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat cause it hits home!

It’s good to see y’all getting all nostalgic 🤣 Revival feels like a biography album. Some of the beats (people complain about) even take me back to another era. I think that’s probably the point-how Em meant it to be. It’s always rubbed me wrong that fans and critics couldn’t let him have his bio album. After so long in the game, he deserved it. I doubt most even listened to it because it wasn’t what they wanted to hear from him. So many wonderful things about the storytelling approach he uses though. 🔥 People always hating.

The reason why Revival was called "trash" was because Eminem has always been surrounded by haters, backstabbers, etc. He's not perfect but when he writes something deep he goes really deep in words, but I guess people now in days just want simple shit, simple words, so they can understand the words easier.

I just know sometimes when you hit rock bottom that's when you can see the light in your life. Addiction is a form of suicide. You want the pain to go away at any cost. Remember you had to press play and record at the same time. For Xmas my mom got me a double cassette so I could record. I was the 1st kid on my block wit the double cassette. I was the man for a minute 😂😂😂.

Pause...radio commercial Ahhh I’m so happy you did Arose(& Castle) on point as usual! Can we just stop for a second & thank Em? The communities of people he has brought together with Kamikaze is, well it’s nothing less then beautiful. I wouldn’t be here leaving comments, watching your reactions & breakdowns. Nor would I be smiling at others comments, not just cause they’re funny, but it’s nice to know people are connecting to music like I do. Like it should be, soul food, a starter kit for your survival. Thanks again, my daughter, she’s 5 & she loves watching you too. Dadswagggggg, hug up!

Em so slick he slipped 1 little bar past you. Its rare that you guys miss anything tho for real! Talking about the tape scheme at the very beginning he said "if I could rewind time like a TAPE, INSIDE A BOOMBOX, one day for every pill or Percocet (per cassette) which of course is what the tapes were called that you put where? INSIDE THE BOOMBOX! Love your guys videos! The best doing the reactions no question!

You said how that was a hard Christmas for those girls, but if you look at it, it was also (in the end) their best Christmas cuz he was re-given the gift of life. Hard to go through at the beginning, but before Christmas was over, they got a gift they'll never forget. Also, I fuckin' dare anyone to sit through Arose & not get a lump in their throat. A year & a 1/2 later and this song STILL chokes me up.
