You do know dogs respond better to higher pitched happier tones. It's been proven that many dogs behaved and listen better to women instead of men with the same training and techniques used because the deeper broader made them receptive or less submissive to the commands. If you want a happier and willfully responsive dog baby type talk will work better then the baron male voice will... Besides, If you are this deeply bothered then just keep scrolling, it's simple as that

Had a red heeler and she had her humans well trained. My husband's cousin would come to the house and she would greet him at the door, walk him thru to the back door and go play stick for 20 minutes or so if I was still upstairs. If I was downstairs, she'd ask permission to go play with her Uncle Duane. Fawn also spoke-she could say 'outside' and 'I love you', clearly and distinctly. People didn't believe it until she did it in front of them. Miss that crazy dog! She certainly set the bar high for all the dogs that have followed.

Whenever it said "Take the Exit on the Right" he knew he was probably going to be able to get out and go for a run. People must have stupid dogs. Every dog I’ve known knows what a car ride is. What’s next? He knows what a treat is? Geez. I knew a dog who ditched its puppy in the woods during a storm because she was jealous of him. When we found the puppy my brother banished her and told her to never come back. She walked slowly down our 500 ft driveway only glancing back once and never returned. Now that’s a smart dog.

No doubt she's smart, I have a blue heeler, too, but all of my dogs knew the go for a ride. My entire pack knew what the jeep meant. I had a white American shepherd, beagle, English setter, Pomeranian/spitz, golden retriever chow mix and a shepherd husky mix. They all piled in my wrangler and took a two hour free run on the trail 3x a week. Those were some of my favorite days of my life. They've all since past away, and now it's just my heeler and two cats. I love my heeler.

I have a female heeler that looks very similar. We talk to her as if she is human. But emphasize both force and pitch. It’s also no myth that these dogs learn so fast that you don’t realize you taught them to do something. It took me maybe 15 seconds to teach her to jump hurdles, two throws to catch frisbees. Things like that are a joke to these dogs. By 6 months old she was as smart as my labs at 2 years. But… the two hardest things to teach her was to not mouth when playing. No biting but mouthing. She now knows when it’s cool playing and when it’s not cool. The other was heel nipping. But even then she now knows that I allow it in the mornings when I first go out only. We turned it into a game and I’m the only one she now does it with. Other dogs are obviously intelligent. But heelers are smart with ease. Many of the signs are very subtle as they do intelligent things naturally all day long. I’ve even had her bring me a folded 5 dollar bill out of know here. Walked up and put it into my hand. We must have dropped It somewhere. She was about 4 months old at the time. She is also hyper in-tuned to surroundings, people and especially facial reactions. My wife isn’t allowed to get even a little rowdy with me. She knows good people from bad before you do, and you’ll know it was she’s fearless. To a fault. I’ve had many dogs and lots of various breeds but there’s something about heelers. They are different than most.

You didn't demonstrate anything any other dog breed would be able to do. So this isn't so much a feat of intelligence, more of just you attempting to generate content somehow-someway. Anyone could do the same exact thing with any dog breed is what I'm trying to convey here. Like you coulda just gotten some McDonalds or stopped by the gas station for condoms or something. Did you even let the heeler run around and burn some energy?

Only gets excited when she calls so don't know if he hears her voice or knows time she calls or what but he knows. Also if me and my husband are talking about taking him for a walk or ride even though we specifically use words to not give it away he knows because he starts getting excited before we even have a chance to get our keys or jackets and only does that when we are discussing it.
