10th May was the last day of Mental Health awareness week and also saw DadSpace play against Maidstone United Supporters team in our third charity football match.
A close game throughout, and the score at the final whistle was 4-4. The team were very pleased with a draw. We play for fun, but there is no doubt that we played this game with purpose.
Our mission is to raise awareness of Mental Health and provide "Brotherly Support Between Fathers". The passion for our cause shone throughout this match.
Last year a generous donor sponsored the purchase of our DadSpace football kit and sadly he recently lost his wife, Angela Rosemeyer. This game was dedicated in her memory and we wear this kit with pride.
Thank you Simon Rosemeyer.
And thank you to NexGen Cyber for your support continued of DadSpace.
Huge thank you to all the friends and family who came along to support the game, also to Maidstone United Supporters team for being such great sports. Thank you to all of the staff at the Gallagher Stadium for supporting DadSpace events and sharing our commitment to improving Mental Health through sport and fitness.
