That's good but nobody's gonna make KZbin videos about it - well, at least they didn't for me when I was younger and was just about there (180cm, getting a palm's length above the hoop). In a decent team it just about qualifies you as libero nowadays.

Nishida's spike is 346cm, and his height is 186, height of this guy is ~198 and spike 382, i don't think that 36cm difference only because of their height

@@ГиверЖигтун According to the internet Gyimah is 6ft8 or about 203 cm, but you'd have to add arm reach to that to calculate the difference. That said, power is pretty much irrelevant in a spike. It's fun, it looks great, but having a 30cm difference in reach means the difference between blocking once or twice and being able to deal with a lot greater variation in a set because jumping is slow. As a 180cm middle it pains me to say, but reach is king.
