My favorite character form the GOT universe has to be Arya. We watch and read as her character tackles so many challenges being the younger daughter of Eddard and Catilin. Try to find her place in her family and finding her own identity as a Stark and what she wants to be. Not a lady, but something more. Also I identified with Arya very early on in the series and in the books, because she is more tomboy than girly.

I am rewatching the GoT and Dany has been quite an angry and tyrannical person from the beginning. It really was the wisdom of the people around her that kept it all in check. Initially we were all so enamoured by Dany and sheer concept of her that we miss on all this subtle character building. Rewatching the show is like watching it for the first time again…

WEIRD COINCIDENCE: where Dany drops her torch is where she later loses her life. In HOTD Season 2, Daemon has a dream in the throne room where he slashes Rhaenyra’s head off. Where does she/her head fall? Very close to that same spot. Coincidence? I also love this theory about Dany’s vision/dream and her returning to save Drogon. I also feel Bran set her up in a way. He was able to play time games with the Long Night and knew what would likely happen with Daenerys, but did nothing to prevent it. If they ever make a show out of this (I hope they do), untangling this and making sense out of it, or redeeming the ending or S8, will be a challenge.

as much as i would welcome the comeback of Dany, i do think the vision Daemon had of Dany is just showing him that she will be there in the future - the true dragon of house Targaryen. The position of Danaerys is the same she was in, when she woke from the ashes of the pyre that burned Khal Drogo and gave life to her dragons. So i do not think it would actually be about her resurrection beyond her death in season 8. I believe it was just showcasing her becoming in the future (the present time of GoT). But maybe it is possible that her visions showed it. Just not Daemons.

My favorite character is Jon. I think Jon is the Son of Mance Raeder, who is descended from Bael the Bard. In the books Bael re-establishes the Stark line. It is that connection that makes him a descendant of the Starks. He is King of the North. He is not a Targaryen. Look into the Bael the Bard and Manse Raeder. Nah, that's a very big stretch. In the books, which will probably never be finished anyways, there isn't anything remotely close to danys death scene in the show. I doubt drogon is going to have any issues surviving so there is no legitimate danger he could be in that would be the catalyst for Danys resurrection. It's possible, in the show canon, that after drogon carries her off with him they end up meeting up with a red priestess and she may try to bring her back to life. But who knows if that would even work anymore seeing as the night king is dead, and there is no need for the Lord of light to meddle with people since there is no great enemy. The vision she had in Quarth showed exactly what happened. Jon Snow killed Dany. The torch falling in the throne room and surrounded by snow demonstrates this. It doesn't need to mean anything else but that. Drogon can start the repopulation of the dragons by himself. Dragons can interchange between male and female, and can lay eggs when necessary. Drogon can do this. Or maybe he simply wants to live out his life and be the last dragon. There isn't really much of a point in Dany resurrecting in the show canon. In the books we will never see the actual completed story anyways.
