I liked her character. I hated the ending. I didn't think it was plausible that Snow would have killed her. I think he would have killed the Imp for suggesting it. He loved her, and he knew loyalty. Another thing that I didn't like was how the Imp suddenly had power, even when he was a criminal and a captive. Why was he the one suggesting who should be King or Queen? He tossed his Queens hand badge away. I didn't get that bit either. I was waiting for Grey Worm to cut his head off but sadly he didn't. And lastly why wasn't John Snow then King? Its not like a throne was never won by murder right? So what if he killed her and he was her nephew and a male, so he was a stronger air than her anyway so why wouldn't he kill her? I felt the whole last episode should have been rewritten as it was the worst of the entire series.

D & D aren't good writers. That's one big reason why it sucked, but I'm pretty sure GRRM's original plan was for Daenerys to die anyway >< :( The tale of 2 queens.

He listened to the Imp because dany went crazy and killed basically a whole city, even tho she had told him she would stop when they rung the bell and gave up. And your right jon knows loyalty, he knew the imp first and understood that he was speaking logic about the situation, dany would have made a bad ruler at this point. And the imp was only a captive/criminal because of corrupt rules from the past that both of them knew were wrong to have been so against him…

You are right. Jon Snow was the one surviving "Stark," ( even if it was on his mothers side), after Robb died that actually behaved like Eddard. All the other Stark children (we can exempt Rickon) were spoiled, self-entitled brats but Jon at least had integrity. I cannot see him just walking up to an unarmed Daenerys, pretending to love her and telling her everything she wanted to her just so he could stab her and kill her. It is the most cowardly thing he did in the entire show and it was all shambles.

What if she was pregnant with snows baby, when he killed her? And the sound of the dragons, does not actually represent her dragons but maybe her child, trying to pull her back from death. The dragons were referred to as her children both in the books and on the show. Or she warged into drogon right before her heart actually stopped. Kinda the same thing that happened to Jon. He actually was killed and came back to life. Daenerys has a similar bond to dragon that Jon had with Ghost. Oh she would have all the reason to then want revenge on Jon. So that would be a final war between ice and fire.

I think a lot of times in our lives of entertainment we often have characters so well written and charismatic both on paper and in live action that we fall in love with them so much that if they die in a story and we just haven't gotten enough of them we often make up theories and fantasies of how they could continue living and how we could have them back because we love them so desperately. As far back as the first season of the show I deduced the exact same things as you. The only difference is that whatever happened to Dany after she left Drogo and Rhaego we should've gotten to see and most likely will - IF AND WHENEVER George finishes the books - but good old Dan and Dave messed that all up on the show. And I had figured she would be deceased at the end of the show and most likely the books, but I gave no real thought to her being resurrected. This video is testament to the fact that she was a great character played by a wonderful actress and because her ending was rushed and botched at the hands of the producers of the series we want a better send off for our lady queen Danerys Stormborn. We don't know what's going to happen on this Jon Snow show or if it is officially on the slate with HBO. Unless there's some hints or some notes or any suggestions at all from George I have my doubts about any rumors or speculation about Kit Harrington's show. Whatever does come out of it will likely seem like hopefully very well produced fan fiction and that doesn't really excite me. As much as I wish Dan and Dave hadn't given up or gave out I'd much rather wait to hear and see what George had or has in mind, so the next books are vitally, vitally important for me. Other than that I really just ignore the last three seasons of GOT and rewatch and enjoy everything before that and just patiently await the day when George finally finishes the books so that we can all get the rightful ending we and Dany all deserve.

I am telling you all now. Daenerys will be resurrected. That’s going to be the huge surprise in Snow. I think Jon is going to try & claim Drogon. Since he is half Targaryen himself. Jon actually might be able to do that if Daenerys isn’t resurrected yet. Either way Jon as a character is quite boring & to emotional to carry the show. It’s going to take Drogon, Daenerys, to keep the show interesting. HBO isn’t dumb they know the directors messed up the last season. When they bring Daenerys back. I can guarantee you the views for the show would go through the roof. HBO is about making money period. If HBO wants to make the money back they lost from the last season they can fix it. Although the Daenerys we all loved will definitely be different.

Please speak for yourself. Daenerys was a monster. Benioff and Weiss only directed two episodes. They were the showrunners and head writers and they did not "mess up". Good vs Evil was the theme of the series. No one complained about any of the many other characters who met their deserved ending, except for Daenerys. Being young, blonde, and pretty does not excuse genocide.

However I'd point out that someone double checked the script for the episode with the snow falling in the throne room vision and the script doesn't mention ash, just snow. Thus not season 8-which is contradicted by proper GoT seasons 1-7 in multiple ways such as season 2 showing bells do not mean surrender in King's Landing.

The only reason I might watch a Jon Snow based show is if it gives us the opportunity to see a real good ending of GOT and right the wrongs done to the characters and especially to Daenerys. So if Daenerys returns, and the Imp gets executed for his many crimes, and Bran is exposed as the puppet master of the show and the real villain, I might watch it. Otherwise, Jon Snow character was so boring that G.R.R. Martin was right to get him killed and not resurrected in his books.

I don't think she went mad. She Got Mad. With Mel's last to Burn them she was fulfilling her best and trusted friend/advisors wish. Cersi made her watch Mel being beheaded and Dany made Cersi watch Kings Landing be destroyed before coming for her. I just wish Drogon would have roasted Jon. Drogon knew Jon killed her but also knew Dany loved him and was family.

You're reading into things too much - ash vs snow etc. And in the scene where Dany visits Drogo in the House of the Undying, D&D simply decided it would be really cool to have Jason Mamoa back on the set. That's it, doesn't contribute to the storyline, they just wanted to find a way to get him back into the show because he was so well-liked. Similar to how they just randomly threw in Ed Sheeran. They had no respect for the story or the fans, it was their very expensive playground. I hope they both get grayscale. Even if the Snow series goes forward, Daenerys will not be resurrected. Bran would be the villain and Jon would be forced to save the world, perhaps reunited with Drogon and those wanting a Targaryen on the 'throne'. Bringing Daenerys back would divide the fandom even more, which is the last thing HBO would want (half the fandom would want her to return and kill everyone/finish what she started, including Jon. The other half want Jon on the throne, which means he would have to fight and kill her again. Kit Harington has already said Jon would not be able to overcome the horrible things she has done, they cannot have a relationship afterward. He, like, killed her. I wouldn't be surprised if they waited the "10 years" and we revisit Jon in the North and the disaster in the south. I can go with anything as long as Sansa is destroyed. My hatred and desire for revenge against her character (so well-played by Sophie Turner) drives my continued interest in the sequel.

Obviously they could be fibbing but it doesn't seem so the way they talk about Kit's script. Fan fact there are might be Targaryens hiding Rhaenys the queen who never was. Did have an exile sister and she open a brothel and did have a children what if they are just hiding and coloring their hair to fit in. And there are still plenty of dragons eggs that were turned to stones.

The show hasn't been greenlit yet. The show is about Jon, not Jon and Dany. If Dany is in it, it can't focus on Jon. Being beyond the wall and seeing Drogo could also represent the two greatest loves of her life. If they brought her back, it would be to destroy everyone and that would be a very short series. She may not even have control over Drogon as Bran is trying to do that. Also she isn't the last dreamer, Jon is also a dreamer, who outlives Dany.

I was so disappointed that Bran, Sansa and Tyrion (even though Tyrion was once a favourite character of mine) survived the long night… all they ever did was allow others to die for them… cowards and traitors till the end. Unlike Jon, Daenerys and Arya to name a few, who all fought to save others. Jorah, Missandei and Raeghal should all have lived and Daenerys (who finds out she’s pregnant with Jon’s baby) should have flown directly to the Red Keep and killed Cersei… then she could have stood on the steps of what was left of the Keep and addressed the people of Kings landing and said they could accept her as Queen or leave of their own free will. Unlike Cersei who murdered thousands of citizens when she blew up the Sept, Daenerys would be a kind Queen. Arya should have been Lady of Winterfell with Jon remaining King in the North with Raeghal as his dragon… LOL a happy ending and some may hate it but it would still have been better than the garbage Benioff and Weiss threw at us.

She will be back but we won't get the daenarys we knew. Her story will take her to volantis and the shadowlands where magic and dragons started. Jon will continue to travel north and will uncover something huge. Eventually both will meet again as foes or allies we don't know. Her resurrection was foretold in the prophecy.
