I don’t believe he was a Maester in the books. I could be wrong but I believe he was the cup bearer to Ormond Hightower. He is about the same age as Jacerys. They shared a milk nurse when they were born.

They all sworn to her. 👎🏼🐲House Green 🐲👎🏼 Queen Alicent envied Ryaenyra because she was everything she couldn’t be and more. She took the jealousy and turned it into hate. Which she started to take it out on her grandsons by calling them bastards. Also Queen Alicent reminds me of Queen Cersi. Don’t like them both.

Oh please, the Targaryens are just one of the smallest dragonlord houses. Their betters were the dragonlords of Valyria. Much superior and with great knowledge of sorcery. The Targs were nobodies during the days of Valyria. They're just leftovers.
