Daewoo Freezer Fault- Not Freezing Fully

Hai.. i had daewoo regrigerator side by side type dfrs62bb. And its not function but the light in freezer box still on. Pls advise if anyone could service my daewoo. Seems the modul got problem as per my technision said. Tq

Condensation occurs when warm, moisture-laden air cools, and if that's happening inside your refrigerator, the first thing you need to do is find the source of the warm air. In most cases, it's coming through the door, but it could also be coming from items you are storing in the refrigerator. You may notice moisture on the sides of the refrigerator if you're in the habit of transferring warm items directly from the stove, but the most common source of condensation is outside air entering through a worn gasket/seal on the refrigerator door. You can use two simple tests to verify this problem. One is to inspect the gasket for blackening caused by mould, and another is the Banknote test, whereby you close the door while holding a banknote between the gasket and the refrigerator. If you can pull the note out without any resistance, the gasket isn't sealing properly.

Thank you for replying. I followed all your steps, except, I couldn't remove the bottom cover. I removed the screw but couldn't push down hard enough on the side two points enough to release it, not due to ice, because it moves from side to side. I used a hair dryer on it and on the back panel, keeping it moving. The freezer is somewhat better, but it's not making ice. I removed the ice maker section and pressed the test button that is then exposed. The icecube container rotated and returned to normal as it should. The filling tube in that area at the top, at the back INSIDE the freezer is warm to the touch. There is a pulsing noise coming from the fan, which stops when the door is open. I'm thinking perhaps the fan is hitting ice and that I didn't leave the fridge freezer off for long enough for ice in that top area to melt. Not sure. The fridge is functioning well, so once I've used the food (have no where else to put it) I'll leave the fridge freezer off for a couple of days and see if it makes a difference to the icemaker. Wouldn't have known to do any of it without your video, so thank you again.

Hi, here is something I found, This is normal and is caused by the heat dissipated from the refrigeration process. If your fridge feels hot to the touch, it may be due to insufficient spacing between your fridge and it’s surroundings. Ensure that there is a minimum distance of 50 mm of space free around the sides and at the back of the unit, and at least 25 mm space at the top.

Thanks for your helpful video. I have a Daewoo FRS-U20DCB. I’m not sure if the evaporator fan is working. You noted that if you open the freezer door and push in the ‘door open’ switch then you can tell if the fan motor is running because you can hear the sound. I don’t seem to be hearing a fan/motor noise. My fridge part was not cooling nor was my ice maker forming solid ice. I cleaned everything, blew out dust etc. defrosted item for a few days and now I have back on. Even though I can’t hear or determine if the fan is working, the fridge part seems to be cooling ok. I would appreciate your comments or suggestions

Hi, you say that the fridge is cooling ok, is the freezer section operating as it should. With this model it suffers with the evaporator freezing up, try to defrost overnight with the doors open, restart the following day and it should start to work ok within 24hrs. The LED panel remains automatically changed. Is there a chance to return it to normal? The one on the bottom right
