Contrary to popular opinion, I think Tron Legacy is a masterpiece. Same with Be extended cut. I guess most people wanted popcorn flicks and both movies definitely weren't. They were deep and had emotion and symbolism and all that jazz and on top of that fantastic effects and soundtracks. Thank you for making all these extended soundtrack videos!

it really is a great film, worthy of multiple viewings. methinks that it was marketed to a kiddie audience and didn't do well at the box office, but when one watches it, they become immersed

This film. I owe it so much. It got me into film and showed me how to create it. And daft punk created a soundtrack that's so brilliantly made it can be paired with not only this film but countless others, it suits every scene you can imagine. Daft punk really showed how capable and and how far they had come with this soundtrack. From D.A.F.T, interstellar 5555, Electroma and Tron Legacy.

Ah, that scene with Sam and Quorra breaking into CLU's tower and getting Kevin's identity disc back. As soon as Sam grabs the disc and that alarm goes off, and CLU looks up at the tower from among the fifty-billion Black Guard troops he's inspecting, you know it's on! And this music fits the scene perfectly, doesn't it? :D

Im sorry for the film. Its not bad but doesn't hold a candle to the soundtrack at all. Its a unique absolute masterpiece. Its always building, which turns out to be the actual main theme.. Fantastic melodies, it starts at level 10 and never touches down. I only wish the movie had a sequel so we could see how Daft Punk continued this. Thanks for the cut!
