Thanks! And actually, yes all the notes are in the MIDI lol. Remember, it's the game engine itself that contains the graphics, animations, etc. and the MIDI is basically what controls what things the game engine should produce via MIDI notes and events. Basically the MIDI chart is programed codes for the game engine to read.

No, I never upload audio files of songs that can get me into legal trouble. Sorry. I recommend either buying the song itself or even the entire album and then ripping the audio if it, that way you get the best audio quality and a lot of other awesome songs as well.

Download the MIDI, take your MP3 of the song and sync it up to the MIDI in Reaper, export the now synced MP3 as a OGG file named "guitar", put all the files in a folder inside your /songs folders and copy a song.configuration file from another song and just change the info to match of the song. As I mentioned before I won't be uploading any sound files I don't own the rights to, sorry

One thing you could try is the free PC fan game called Phase Shift, it's not as good as the actual thing as it lacks vocals and background animations but you can play this and any other custom songs with a Phase Shift version on it, and it's also possible to play it with a normal computer keyboard

Yep, I put the RBA in it's own folder. Copied the CON onto my flashdrive with Modio, copied the file over from flash drive to harddrive on Xbox dashboard. So the song is listed in game (and you can hear the preview and everything), just kicks me out when I start to play it. Not sure what I missed

I might just do that because I am getting tired of explaining it over and over again in text form lol. Until then, import your song file with the MIDI into Reaper, sync the song up to the MIDI notes, export the song as a 44.1khz Stereo WAV file, import it into Magma as the TRKS track (filling the other tracks with silent files and the Dryvox one with any 16kzh Mono WAV file) and build the RBA. Then use that RB3 Maker program to convert it to CON and then import it.

Oh it's quite easy. Just download the programs Reaper (or any other sound and MIDI editing programs) and the Magma program from the creators sites. Line up a MP3 of the song to the MIDI in Reaper, export the MP3 as a high quality WAV file, put it into Magma and fill the other tracks with a silent sound file, and the RB3.con stuff is all in guides on ScoreHero. It sounds more complicated than it is.

What the... huh, that is odd indeed. Did you put the RBA in it's own folder when converting it to a CON file? When you select the folder where the RBA is in it will pack everything in that folder into the CON file, so you need to only have the RBA in it's own folder. Also I think Modio have stopped working so see if there is a different program you can use instead in one of the guides on SH.

Well I just downloaded about 10 different programs! So I did what you said, exported to WAV, inserted the wav file for all tracks in Magma along with your song midi, compiled it to RBA, used RB3 Maker to convert to Con, got in game with Modio.. and the song doesn't work. I get the error "The song data you were accessing has become unavailable, and the game cannot proceed without it. Your game session has restarted." I can preview the song from the song list too.. Never happened before w/customs

Sorry but no. I rather keep myself out of possible legal trouble related to sharing files containing high quality WAV files of songs I don't own. Some of the drum part is wrong but other than that good job. To be specific, at 0:27 it would be more fun if the background hi-hat was included (even if its technically impossible but you could make it not impossible lol) Also at 2:43 the bass drum hit is on the & of 4, not the e, if that makes sense haha. The bass drum being on the & thing happens every 8 bars Sorry if I seem obnoxious I'm just kind of OCD when it comes to music, especially Daft Punk lol. And I only know the drum part because I made a cover using the original samples a while back of some songs off of the Discovery album. (I didn't post it to KZbin because I was stupid and now the files are lost on my old computer lol. But you can find videos on KZbin of other people doing the same thing)

They span all the available octaves in the engine, they go all over the place (often between octaves in the same vocal phrase), there is a literal vocal solo with 16th triplets, and on top of everything the solo vocals are even harder because it doesn't have the legroom of the back and forths and you have to sing everything by yourself
