Came here off of an alternative browser to let you know this is the SINGLE best DK soundfont cover I've heard. The hairs on my arms stood on end twice while listening to this it blew me away so well. You can feel the care that went into it. The added ambient percussion and bird sounds, no obviously autotuned monkey sounds replacing the entire melody line, the instruments actually sounding like what was used in DKC2... It's perfectly done. DKC2 is my number 2 favorite game of all time. I know it inside out and backwards. I can hum along with every track in the game. And you could probably gaslight me into thinking this track was in the game the whole time.

Hey I really appreciate it. DKC2 is also one of my favorite games ever and the soundtrack is sacred to me. I often study Dave Wise’s genius compositions and analyze what makes the soundtrack sound so special. So I always try to make these covers justice.
