I actually think Garten of Banban is going from an "ironically fun" to a genuine "so bad it's good" type thing. Like, I'm not even pretending to enjoy this series as a joke anymore. Whenever a new chapter comes out I just grab some chips and watch it like I would an Old Godzilla movie... Bittergiggle is seriously underrated in this chapter. A lot of films and games talk about the idea of a character who was designed to be evil, but BG wasn't ; instead he was designed to make people happy at the expense of being the one everyone laughs at, not the jokes. He's determined to take control of his purpose by actually making people laugh from his own skill and not as the punchline. It's really kind of depressing.

I feel the motive for the jester makes him both more likeable and it isn't outlandish He was made to be a jester in the facility, to tell jokes and make people laugh. But he is being denied the one thing he was made to do. If you are something made to do one thing, and you are being denied it, you would go insane and eventually turn crazy and mentally unstable. All he wants is the queen to laugh, because that is why he was made. It's like an ai being made specifically to create original knock-knock jokes but then being told to stop making those jokes because they will apparently do bad stuff and kill people. The ai, if programmed to make jokes, will not want to stop, since it cannot be reprogrammed as the creators are long gone. He has a motive to get you, because that means that he can remove someone from the kingdom and maybe can tell jokes to. Also, since you are allies with toadster, who seemingly regularly throws his toadstars at bittergiggle, he will not like you.

I find it somewhat interesting how throughout all the previous chapters, we still don't know jack shit about our protagonist that we play as. Sure, we know that they're a parent looking for their missing kid, but that's all we know of them. We don't know if they're a man or a woman and we've never even heard or seen their thoughts. It wasn't until FNAF SL where we learned more about who we play as, Michael Afton, and while it wasn't much, it was at least something to go off on.

There is no context storywise for Choo Choo Charles to be there other than as a loose callback when Bittergiggle makes his joke involving a train. That scene was just a dream sequence and was a continuation of the dream sequence from episode 3 with the car. Two Star Games gave the Euphoric Brothers permission and approved it. I hear people saying that the devs are friends but I couldn't find a post where they outright say that. Apparently, TSG thought it would be funny to include Choo Choo Charles in the game and even on Twitter he was joking about it and wasn't taking it seriously.

the weirdest part is that this damn train introduces many unexpected questions the fact that it appears in the weird scene implies that either the protagonist or the jellyfish or both are aware of this creature's existance and that opens up a whole new can of worms it's most likely not a gyvanium creation as daggz thought, but anything else could be true: - flynn saw charles despite being stuck underground this whole time - the protagonist saw charles at some point in the past - both of them saw charles somehow at some point - it's a massive coincidence and the train engine is not actually related to charles and it just happens to look exactly like charles - the devs simply stopped giving a damn about the story or the implications of cameo appearances

I my honest without sugarcoating it, this chapter was my favorite and the best one of the three, the environments were better the voice acting (especially the voice for sheriff toadster) was so much better and the only thing I had problems with was the big ass room in the beginning that you have to backtrack every time to fix the elevator and the ending chase sequence wasn’t that well executed. Still a huge step- up for the games Also thank fucking god that the drone remote got fixed :)

they might've needed a lot of permits too then they would need a lot of bribes and "persuasions", as this thing is way too deep to be built without the government stepping in and idk if anyone checked how deep the unnamed facility actually is, but the deepest known building is the jinping underground laboratory in china, it's 2,4 kilometers deep i suspect that this facility is somehow even deeper than that also the earth's crust varies and in canada, where this game most likely takes place, it's approximately 29 - 40 kilometers thick if we assume that garten of banban takes place in quebec, then the crust would be around 30 - 40 km thick so if the facility goes even deeper, the pressure and rising temperature will become a problem, and if they go deep enough, they'll reach SEMI SOLID MAGMA

Admittingly this chapter is rather long and stretched out, but I do like what they did with it. It's honestly pretty good. I was really happy when we got the VAs for Toadster, Bouncelia, and Bittergiggle. and I enjoy the lore they put in this game that is surprisingly interesting to learn about (some of that is due to me liking Biology as well, and understanding the terms they'd use in the earlier chapters)

I think the idea behind Charles' appearance is that Nabnab and Charles are both vaguely spider-like beings, and they somehow recognize this in each other and bond over it. I cannot, however, say why that matters for either character.

One of hte few things i despise about Banban is that it has manged to gaslight the entire community into thinking it was always satire, when it clearly wasn't,once people started to it was ironically good thats when the tone changed, i hate a lazy game, but what i hate more is when the lazy game convinces a community into thinking it should exist because it is now "ironic"

🤷‍♂️ the game can be lazy and filled with lies but still deserves the same right to exists as any other game just like even the worst people still deserves to live. If it was only good games in the world noone would ever understand what not to do to make a good game because everyone would always do the same things. It's thanks to games like this that developers can understand how they should and how they shouldn't develop their game. If the end results will be good or bad it will only depend on the developers greed, the love and care they feel for the game and how players react to the game itself. A good game can end up looking like a bad one if the players forms a toxic community (an example is undertale) just like a bad, lazy game can end up looking like a good and funny one because the players that plays it knows how to have fun with it (like minecraft, almost every roblox game and fnaf security breach) as long as you have fun with a videogame it doesn't matter if it's good, bad, lazy or pay 2 win you'll still have fun with it and that's the only thing that matters

I can't deny the scene where we see Charles was funny and pretty cool, but at the same time, I still don't like GOBB as a whole. While its crazy nature is what got peoples attention, It's "success" is hard to fathom. I'd give Garten of Banban a 6/10.
