Love you brothers and sisters. 7:51 This is the old bulgarian alphabet. Vikings are actually bulgarians scythians. Bulgarian are 72 tribes. Now are more. All Europe today are Bulgarians but the rulers of the world change it the language of the people in begining of 20 century. In Iran,Palestina and others countrys are same Bulgarians. Bulgaria is the mother of all civilisations. The most old country on the world. You must remember who you are,becouse masons hide about Bulgaria and the history from the people and created false nations from Bulgarians. They falsificate the all history of humanity and Bulgaria is the more big sicret for humanity and they lies you that greeks are first people on the world. I say the truth. We Bulgarians are with blonde hair and blue eyes original. First tribe on the world was bulgarian tribe Dulo. All kings are from this tribe. Yoy can hear on the video bulgarians words as skrin in 10:12. You can hear the bulgarian language on the movie series Vikings.

All the real Vikings left Norway on their own or were kicked out a thousand years ago ~ People in Norway claiming to be Vikings because they're still in Norway, are like city folks in Boston, claiming they're cowboys because they live in America. Most descendants of the Vikings who had the balls to sail weren't born in Norway, and there's a good chance we'll be speaking any language except Norsk.

Historian thst specilises in the Viking Age here, I lecture full time at a university in the UK. I specialise in the Viking age only and anything to do with the scandinavian cultute of that period. I want to say thank you. You have done a fantastic job at portraying the "Vikings" as historically accurate something that series like "The Last Kingdom" and "Vikings" fails misrably at. Your costuming is impeccable, and the old norse to my ear sounds immaculate it sounds a little icelandic to my ear, but it is hard to get old norse, perfectly correct. Amazing job, and I shall use this as a teaching tool !

Indeed beautiful film. As a medical dokter, I wondered how they would treat such wounds as the leading character has. In the film she uses herbs. Would they use fire to close the wound ? Of course, if internal organs were perforated, his chances of survival would be slim.
@jamesnoonan7450
@jamesnoonan7450 Ай бұрын
@stevensleeswijkvisser2648 Hello, Vikings had various ways of treating battle wounds. Heat was used throughout early medevil europe as a way of cauterising open wounds (and unbeknownst to them stop infection). There is a record of how Viking women would treat a deep wound to the abdomen. The women would make a potent onion soup and feed it to the warrior. They would wait a little while and then smell the wound to the abdomen. If the wound stunk of onions, they knew the stomach or bowel was perforated and nothing could be done. They would leave the warrior to die and move to a man who could be saved. We don't know that much else, given the sheer lack of written record from the "Vikings." However many skeletol remains have been found with clearly healed wounds to the bone (the bone has begun to remesh). This means some wounds were survivable. Sadly, bacteria wasn't understood at all. This means that the majority of Viking warriors likely died from their wounds following a battle and not on the battlefield itself. Lifespan for men in Scandinavia at the time was between 35-40 years of age.

So well done and such attention to detail. As a retired professor of Theater, Film and History I am absolutely stunned by the level of production values. You have clearly done your homework. The feel is so right and so true. As a man with much Norwegian blood married to a Dane I am proud of your work. As a Latter-Day Saint (Mormon), I have an appreciation from an entirely different direction. We believe that the Scandinavian people are descendants of the Tribe of Ephraim who were carried out of Israel long ago by the Assyrians and who traveled north for many generations until they settled the Norse lands. In my own genealogy Odin, Thor, Baldr etc. are very real people who came to be worshiped by their descendants. There is so much more to know. Thanks for your excellent and, if I may be so bold, inspired work. I will watch for more!

A production design faithful to the Viking history with realistic actors as the ancient Vikings were, with raw faces and marked by the harsh life and the icy atmosphere, I am fascinated by the very dramatic music such as the battle scene and the impressive natural settings, At times I felt like I was in the 8th or 10th century the film transported me to those times, a very captivating script, I loved it

I love the close-up of a lone sapling springing back upright as the foot of Baldr the younger runs away from his pursuers or the distant shots of valleys, mountains or more near boulder strewn beaches. The setting alone gets you halfway to amazing. The quest for the box of technology seems awfully current. Maybe the US and Silicon Valley should not have freely opened the chest to someone recently acting like the enemy. Well done, be proud.

Too late now. Tipping point has passed. CCP China HAS the "box." CCP Third Way will "bury" US soon enough. Instead, of embracing post-Soviet's Russian Federation, America's vulture capitalists and neo-liberals drove them into the arms of CCP. What goes around, comes around.

It is a great film. I would happily watch a series made of Völsunga Saga. Egy nobody made this fantastic mythological epic story in a great series about the Völsung family (dynasty)? Such a great story! Also the whole Scandinavian mythology can be made in a great animation series, starting with the beginning of the world, the story of the Gods, till the Ragnarok and the reborn of the world. Why nobody makes epic series about these fantastic stories? Enough with ridiculous Hollywood Thor movies, we want the real story of the Nordic Gods!

Amazing. Cinematically done so well. You can truly feel the cold and heart pumping fear while watching. Even the music is paired so well with the climate and emotions of each scene. Kinda weird how everyone considers the Vikings came from Norway eventhough that country wasn't a country when Vikings roamed the earth. Vikings came from and existed in many different parts of Scandinavia and beyond. Despite that misconception, this film was done masterfully. Simple, superb and real to landscape, people and shield wall. The viewer is simply invited along with a clear, hard won journey...to a cartharsis of flame. Absoutely well done. M.

Utrolig kult! Som viking reenactor ble jeg rett og slett rørt over de autentiske klærne og utstyret, skulle vært mer av slikt 😁 Håper på se mer i framtida, si ifra om det skulle trengs statist 😉
