Great movie Daniel, so many layers to analyze here: I saw Cain & Abel tribes, gods and demons of men, and soul's redemption. Thank you.

I wrote this off a few minutes in, but my interest grew the moment I realised they weren't going to speak, the brutality stormed past 'vallhalla rising', capped off with the realisation that one of them was more evolved, with his brother stuck in between the sibling and the arsehole with the mad eyes, I had hope for the decent one, i like to think maybe he survived , whilst trying to grasp how devastating this must have been for the father / husband he made a grand job of partially avenging his family after making the decision to move on regardless of the outcome, if the relatively sane one didn't survive then someone similar did at some stage in order for the species to progress, 20 out of 10 ! Humanities violence is maybe still as outrageous just less personal and direct. When's part two, thankyou !

Has the atmosphere of Easter Island and those Moai. Liked the actor facial characteristics and the drum with the drone shot over the black lake. I'm just a viewer but this seems very high standard.

@@martynaustin8073I’ve hiked through much of Scotland, especially the western Highlands. It certainly looks like there. Fun fact, given the period appears to be loosely sometime after the last Ice Age, they would be the first inhabitants of what is now Scotland. These people disappeared from Scotland, leaving no DNA traces - apart from some people in the Outer Hebrides, who, it is reckoned, still carry some of their DNA.

They were closer to God than we think. This Jewish phrase fits definitely better to modern times. There is nothing sacred in a man, he is simply an animal and a parasite.

I saw a mother and two children who had no indication of being wicked along with another man attempting to do right against four tribesman who were up to no good. 8 characters total in a rapidly changing world yet you see only evil and condemn humanity by forcing a Bible verse upon all human existence to suit your own narrative of destruction. Dude, I think you lost the word of God somewhere along the way. More is expected out of you than your actions have shown here. Jesus probably wouldn’t approve of you even though I’m sure he would forgive you and your ignorance.

Probably close to how we humans lived for a couple of hundred thousand years. Brutish. Driven by hunger, lust, territorial defense or acquisition. The women and kids wouldn't just have been killed; the savages would have cannibalized every bit of them. Always the cold was the biggest underlying enemy; it sapped the life from your body, you had to have lots of fat in your diet to live abd you jad to eat well regularly or die plus no way to preserve food meant you had to kill something every day. Brutal existence. Knowing all this explains why some horrible humans are still brutish knuckledraggers. We midern humans are mot that much different; selfish, exploitive, violent and ignorant, xenophobic. And doubtless could very well self annihilate like the brutes in this film.
