This video is so underrated and speaks to my soul! As a person who has worked retail for 8 years, I can confirm that this is 100% legit. Sneaky/snakey people, weird coworkers, coworkers who didn't have the best hygiene, and coworkers who shared waaaay too much. Be grateful you didn't have to working with the public as much. The people who come into the store are even crazier that some of your worst coworkers.

I work in retail almost everyday(this is my full time job for living) so I can tell this is how pretty any retail work looks like. They are always some weird guy (in my job it's probably me), some stinkers and bosses are pretty nice personally, but in work they always have sticks in their asses and scream at you because you break the rules(they also break the rules, but there is nobody who could scream at them).

I also worked at the same company, but usually the closing shift. They had a similar meeting about bathroom breaks, because they were also cutting our breaks to 10 minutes instead of 15. After the meeting, I went into the managers office: "Are you guys timing our bathroom runs?" "No! We're just noticing who frequents the bathroom a lot." "So you're watching to see who goes to the bathroom when, and how often?" "Well no, it's not" And the manager just stopped talking for a moment. I gave him the, 'and then...?' sort of look. Suffice to say, they stopped quasi-controlling bathroom breaks. None of us actually abused the system - We might spend a minute or two longer than normal to fire off some texts or whatever, but there was no notable excessive bathroom use by anyone other than management.
