Back then I joined a school trip to a chocolate factory... And the factory is full of air conditioner so my friends and I are so cold that we really need to use the bathroom... The toilet is quite hidden and there are no signs at all... When we get in... There are these interesting fountain like place where there are water flowing down.. We don't really mind that so we just entered the toilet immediately... When we got out of the toilet the worker there told us that we just entered a male toilet... Oh god, finally. I relate to this SO MUCH. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who struggles with this, I'm always so embarrased because of it. I used to live in a relatively big state and it took me 17 years only to know the directions inside of my own neighborhood. I had someone to go with me then go pick me up at high school for 1 entire week to learn how to get there alone, it was a STRAIGHT way to high school (and I got lost 2 times after I started going on my own). Then I moved with my family to another state (oh god no) and had to start all over again. Thankfully it's a much smaller state, which doesn't mean I don't get lost, but at least it only takes me 2hs to find the right way instead of 3. I get lost inside shops, the mall, the bus, other people's houses, I even got lost in my own room in the middle of the night when I was like 8 and I somehow trapped myself inside of the closet. It's so embarrasing to go out with someone and having to lead the way because we only depend of google maps and pure luck. I can remember the name of streets, I can't remember where the hell they are supposed to be, or in which order. They just sound familiar. I relate 100% to what you said at the end of the video, and I relate 100% to everything else you said the rest of the video too, specially the driving one. PS: I got lost in your channel as well. I was looking for korean classes, why am I here again?

Mate, that last part about second guessing route A is me all the time. I did that many times and got myself lost having straight up doubts about my direction. Oh and with regards to shortcuts, they end up taking me twice the length as the original route, almost ended up handing a assignment late as a result of that.

As someone who A: Has absolute shit sense of direction and B: worked as taxi driver, here's a tip: Explore. Explore and Explore. Dedicate like, a month.. or more, to just aimlessly driving around your town/city. Especially if it's a medium to large city. Eventually, you get used to it, and even if you don't know EXACTLY where you're going, you'll recognize lots of landmarks and shit to help. xD might seem like waste of gas, but you'd waste a lot more getting lost constantly.
