@@CognizantCheddar It's literally impossible to consciously react to something below 15 frames or .15s so if you're saying pros can see and instantly react to 3 frames that's bullshit. The average sweep in the game has about 10-11 startup and active frames total before entering recovery, and then about 22 frames of recovery after. Which means a you have little over a whole half second to react to and punish a sweep, totally with in the realm of human reaction times. Other types of whiff punishes you may see aren't reactive but predictive. Sometimes people will push themselves out of range and then purposefully whiff a move that will only hit if their opponent presses a button, which tends to work very well.
